A MF Blizzard Sorc

Ok, so I started building a blizzard sorcoress, in hopes to do some mfing. I've never built a Sorcoress before. She is about level 13 right now, and I just have one teensy little question for you guys!

How the crap, did you guys ever play them before you could buy mana pots?!? :lol:

I have played untwinked sorcs a lot and I often use large axes in 1st act. 2h axes are fast with sorceress (faster than 1handed weapons) and do more damage. I combine melee with lvl1 Ice Blast. Also Tirs/saphires socketed in helm, armor (and shield) help a lot.

3 soc breastplate, blue gems.
eagle orb, no lvl reg, 35 to mana.
3 row belt, 1 row red, 3 rows blue. :D

actually, ive never started any ladder with sorks. ive played through with almost all of mine though.

my personal favorite is hellforge hammer + pelta or umbral disk, preferably with either deaths combo or bfists. hf hammer should take u all the way to a3.

Yeah, I love Blizzard Sorcs... only lost last at NN Lvl60, at Act5 -> damned archers in Frozen Tundra... -> in HC mode I definetly advise to use near MAXED Blocking :) (my life pool with ~500 het down with few (3-4) hits...)

So - I NEVER had problems with mana -> always collect all from monsters, use 3x4 belt loaded with 9 mana potions all the time and buy them all the time :)

No single points added to mana pool -> easy get to NM at reached ~Lvl30-40-50

Frost Nova/Static/Merc for the win? at least once you hit a2 :)

If it was my first char of the season, I'd get a staff with + Charged Bolt and use that as a support skill for my party, then hop into some trist runs at 7, trist till 14, cats then off to a2 where I have a date with Waheed and some things that need to die.

As all the above -pick a good melee weapon and lvl 1 cold spell-then cast and whack. Keep a jav on switch for any bad boys you are faint hearted about in going toe to toe. I have used the angelic set in the past and found it effective.

chant to lvl 20 ...leech cow to 25 ....leech norm baals .... u dont even have to put on gear till 40-45 :)
