Is there a starting set for assassins?
Anyone else confused by this question? What specifically are you asking? Is there a specific set that is specifically good for an assasin (generally, not specifically)?

yes the set includes:
1 katar
1 buckler
1 town portal scroll
1 item identification scroll
4 minor healing potions

haha you guys are hilarious, but I mean how like bowazons have artics set as a low lvl set. Is Sigons the best I should use is there another one?

The best for what? Low levels? That depends on build (see my previous replies your posts in other threads.Set items list. Look for yourself. (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/sets/)

its beyond me why any low lvl would put enough points into str to use sigons .

Don't worry about it, then. I do the same thing with every character (with a few vita points in every now and then), and I have never, EVER been burned by it. It isn't like my new assassin will be any different. It's just a personal choice I make, like I value Strength more than Vitality because if you can't use the items, how are you going to get the benefit? (and I'm talking about the medium-slightly poor people, who can't get Torches and Annis)

hsarus set (boots + shield)
biggins bonet
bloodrise
angeli amu + 1 ring
cathan ring
twitchtroe

this is what i use on my chars if i do need some strenght at high lvl

or just use sigon set...
