View Full Version : Playable sin or not?

I'm playing a single game with a C/C sin and am going with these skills:

Claw Mastery: 20
Weapon Block: 10+
Venom: 10+
Dragon Claw: 20

Blades of Ice or Phoenix Strike: 20 (not certain which one)

I'm new to the sin and not sure whether this is a good build to play or not. Should I add a skill or subtract/substitute one of these skills? Thanks, RR

If you include the 1-pt wonders (BoS, Mind Blast, Blade Fury) and use those last 20 points in Death Sentry, it would do very well. Not the strongest/fastest, but a decent melee character for speed/power/surviveability. Also, Venom is one I tend to max or leave at one. For this build, I'd max it.

I agree on maxing venom, but I wouldn't max death sentry, I find that ~12 points after +skills is sufficient. (the only reason for any points in the first place is the corpse explosion, more points - bigger radius)

One more question. If I'm not going to use Blades of Ice or Phoenix Strike, are there any charge up skills that I should use with Dragon Claw?

Not really. Dragon Claw tends to do best on its own, or as a (1-pt) finisher for a Phoenix Strike build. Despite the tempting ED numbers on Tiger Strike, it is usually a waste of time and skill points.
