Superior phase or not?

After over an hour of searching on the forums to no avail, I've just decided to ask the question directly. I can finally make the grief runeword for my Zealot, and was able to get a regular 5os Phase Blade. Lvl is 54, damage is 31-36. Is this a good candidate for making Grief or is it worth the trouble to try to get a Superior PB. How much more damage am I looking at here with the superior version? Thanks in advance.

Is it my idea or the guys that did the calculations forgot (or deliberately for making maths easier) the 20% deadly strike of grief?

The damage increase really isn't much to trouble yourself over. The damage bonus will only add to the weapon and your extra damage from grief will be based off that. So your only really getting about 5-10 extra damage or something along those lines.

If that is the case it is a bit misleading. It is like calculating heaven's light damage without taking into consideration the +skills for example. They are there you can't rule them out.

For sure sup phase blade is better.
The question is could you wait til you get a perfect weapon to socket? or you need to have one to use it? because the difference between the up and normal one is not a big deal compare to the dmg that grief gives.
