The last skill points

I finished my hammerdin, he is lvl 85 now and 8 spare points - he is used only for baal runs in SP where he is very good (3.5 - 4 min), and almoust never dies, however I found out that the most dangerous enemies for him are the bone fetish (when they blow up ofcourse), so I was thinking to place does 8 points to res fire not lightning IF the explosion is fire damage (which I don't know). Can you tell me what type of damage is that explosion? Thanks.

Gear is Shako + Lo, HoZ + Lo (both runes found in cow level and the only above vex runes besides ber and jah in enigma I ever found), Enigma in Breast Plate (crazily lucky, found ber and jah in cow level in the same day), HotO in flail, 2x soj, saracen's (never found mara's), magefist and arachnid (the easiest way I found to hit 75% FCR), WarTraveler 35% MF. On switch is a dual ist ali-baba and a 4 Ist'ed Heraldic Shield with 40% Res all (I found many ists from hellforge). On Baal kill I have 476% MF. With normal gear my resists are Fire 73, Lightning 85, Cold 75, Posion 59.

One more thing: pretty much the only thing that can kill my merc is a cross Succubi fire (what type of damage is that?) and iron maiden, he wears Duress in Ethereal Kraken Shell, Non Ethereal Shael'd Reaper's (never found Ethereal) and Guillame's with Jewel +15all (no PDR, but CB is very good and I love it, but the real killer is Decripify course which is fantastic against Baal).
