my smiter gear for trist?

I think ill use the below, but feel free to correct me, my budget is not gigantic, although i got most of it.

Helm: Guillaumes umed
Gloves: dracs
Weapon: 3/289/2 heavens light
armor: Duress AP
shield: HoZ (should this be upped??)
belt: t-gods
rings: raven and dwarf star
amu:highlords
boots: gore

stash: lifecharms and resi charms.

is this ok for a smiterdin?

you will be fine. but if you can up your hoz or get your hands on a exile with resist that would be great. but even with the gear your having know you can solo uber trist

p.s you cal also swop the duress for coh. :thumbsup:

You will do great, just activate Mephi first and cast lifetap on him with a wand or so because your res will be far below 0 and sometimes it takes a while to activate lifetap with drac's alone.

Once meph is lifetapped, it will be a walk in the park

I don´t know if i can afford COH or Exile, but is it worth investing in DEATH ETH BA instead of the heavens light i have?

also, what is the proper life to have approximately?

Arent death eth ba's more expensive than CoH? I'd rather aim for a CoH anyway.
Damage to demons cant be wrong when you are in tristram. +2 skills and massive resists = sweet!
Proper life? Well. If you got 1k+ and lifetap activated, there should be no problem. I have 1.2k, and managed to solo tristram without dying with lesser gear than you have. More is never wrong though.

heavens light will fork just fine but death is a nice weapon too and you can also make it in eth ettin axe, it works great...Coh in my opinion is better than duress bacause of the res/+2 skill/+200% dmg to demons which is important when killin the ubers since they are demons.
also hoz is better than exile because of chance to block/+4 combat skills/+72 res all if umd
