Drops when you get killed?

Yo,
I'm new to HC, and thinking about making a PK'er :evil: :yep: . But, when you die, what drops? The equip you are wearing only, or your inven too?

Neither. You can set loot beforehand (in the party screen, you select whether or not to allow people in the game to loot you). If someone who has died has allowed you to loot, you can go click their corpse and pick up what they're wearing. If a person dies, but didn't allow you to loot, you cant pick up any of their gear.

So, its up to them, before they die (you cant go to the party screen to toggle loot after death) who to allow to loot. And invintory/stash stuff is never recoverable, only whats being worn, and then, only if they've allowed loot.

Keep in mind, if someone allows loot, dies, then quits before you get to their body, you wont be able to recover their gear.

To answer the first part of the question:
Any and all gold on the person (only on them, not in the stash) and any potions that don't fit in the inventory, EG:
4 potions will stay on the 'belt', but since the belt is unequipped on death any potions beyond the 4 will go to the inventory, if you don't have room for some of those, then they will drop.

That seems not really worth it :confused: :eek:
So PK'ing will only deliver gold and maybe potions, and an ear?
Might still be fun to do it however :thumbsup:

You dont pk for items.. you do it for fun. Although, if you pk 1-800-newb. (his pally) I will give you my accnt. >8D

PKing in HC is about the thrill for a lot of people who already either have everything they want itemswise (everyone but me) or don't care about items and try to kill people with eth imbued mauls (me).

Sometimes you can find another dueler willing to loot duel you, but be careful, as a lot of the loot duelers at least when i did it back in the day would use chicken so they'd get booted out right before death unless you 1-hit them in which case you wouldn't have a chance to get any of their items before their body poofed.
