Newb MF question

If i use all of my good gear to get a boss so he is almost dead and then switch to my mf gear and kill him do i get the mf bonuses?

Yeap. People do this with switch weapons all the time. Sorcs would switch to alibaba + rhyme and cast the final spells.

You have to make the kill with your MF gear on.

yeah that would help. also i would like to know where is the best place to mf for ik gloves nd boots.

The bosses with the highest chance to drop the gloves in nm is Baal and diablo, and in hell its meph, baal and dia.
The same goes for the boots. All of them have pretty equal chance of dropping them. Cow king in hell has the highest dropchance, but he's hard to harvest, so i would go with the bosses.

Personally, if you can handle it, I'd go with Hell Meph. Not only can he drop IK boots and gloves but he can also drop much better stuff too. However, if you can't handle Hell Meph, NM Meph is a good alternative.
