invis fissure/volcano

I saw this one person doing them, how is it possible?

Can you only do them while tging?

Hrm anymore details? You can't expect us to solve the mystery of the inivisible fissure/volcano.

It could be lag/desync. What was happening? He could be castign volcano around you but on your screen, you were lagging so you weren't even close to him and then suddenly die.

Well he was only tging, its not like he was actually causing invis fissures while dueling. I was not lagging, and everyone else in the game was being killed by it too without seeing it. Maybe there is a delay unlike other skills for fissure when entering town after casting outside of town?

A typical druid will run out, cast fissure, and run back in

For some reason, you can see the fissure, but you are taking damage. You only don't see the fissure if you are outside.

My only thought would be desync as the druid moves from town into "hostile" territory.

Ive seen / use the guided arrow and bone spirit invisibility bug. But ive never heard of this one. Perhapse it works the same way ?

I've seen it plenty of times, and yes, it is only while tging.

Lots of other stuff can become invisible in the dueling field though, fbs, spirits, nados, hammers, arrows, meteor fire, etc.

Any projectile can become invisible. The basic rule is that if a spell is casted before the caster is on your map, and that spell hits you, it will become invisible.

That's what makes random charged bolt fields so handy in svs tele duels. Teleing into an invis charged bolt field can zap your mana down pretty quickly.

all invisible projectiles work the same way. and since fissure and volcanos last for a long time it's very easy to make them invisble. i just requiped my fire druid and have been nking pubs with invisble fissures. if you wanna duel whisper die.hard. uswest
