I just stated a new char for this patch and back in 1.09 I used to meph run... what do you think is the best build/area to mf run for a new player with no items?

NM Bosses would be the place to hit until you build up your item base, NM meph is still good to run but takes more time then it use to.

You didn't specify your level... does "no items" means you're still in normal? If so, Meph is such a pain with the expanded Durance level 2 maps.... maybe try Eldritch and Shenk, which are both very quickly reached from the second WP in Act 5.

If you're on NM, Meph is still a good choice, as are Eldritch/Shenk. For Hell, zero in on the level 85 areas like The Pit etc.

Right now I have a 81 mf sorc that can run hell meph and pindle no prob which is what I'm doing now... I was wondering if you had any recomendations for a ground up char... for example what is preferable for a char with base gear lvl 80 or so... pit... countess... or meph... or other... then which class does the best there with cheap items... just asking what the best place is in your opinion for a char without really good items.

If you don't have any good items, start with boss running (Meph, Andy, Pindle) to start building up your item collection. After you have some decent items, make a Pit Strafer to do Pit runs for socketables.

Depends on what it is and when ya got it, white monarchs were going for a good price at the start of ladder.
