Expensive Repairs

I just got a Doom Axe and the repairs for it are crazy expensive. What is the best way to deal with paying for these repairs all the time? I have gheeds on my pally and that helps some... What else can I do?

What else can I do?You can stock up on Ort runes and use the cube to repair it. (Ort + weapon => Fully repaired and recharged weapon.) You can also just make sure to pick up expensive sell items. Wands, scepters, staves and exceptional/elite armors are often good for 20+K each. If your Doom isn't made in a superior weapon, that's all you need. If it is in a superior weapon and you mostly PvM, I suggest trading it for a nonsuperior Doom.

Ort + Chipped Gem + weapon => Fully repaired and recharged weapon
And I think the recipes work for superior weapons as well, but don't work on ethereal ones.

Thanks for the tip. I muled some ort runes over to my pally and it saved me a ton of gold.
