Where is the best place to MF for a Gull?

Hi,

I'm trying to MF a Gull and was wondering where the best place to do that is. I got ATMA and it said that Coldcrow in Cold Plains has the best chance to drop a Gull but even she has only a 1 in 350 chance to drop with like 300% mf. Some people say Tristram or Chaos Sanctuary in normal but I was just wondering what your opinion was on where the best place to mf for it was. I would try trading for it but people ask for ridiculous stuff for it. Is it feasible to try to mf it on your own and if so, where is the best/most efficient place to look? Thx.

Firstly, I must admit I've only ever found Gulls by chance, while I was doing some quest or something.

That said, you will want to do MF runs in the lowest area possible that drops it. This'll reduce the chance of getting other items getting in the drops. If you don't want to run Andy, then you'll want to do an area with the most bosses, such as the tower, which generally has one boss per floor, and two bosses on the last floor (totalling six bosses).

Make sure you have alot of MF, and preferably a max game.

In v1.09 I got Gull Dagger from normal Treehead Woodfist (Dark Wood). I haven't found one since... Of course I took a year or so off of Diablo, and don't MF too much, so don't get discouraged.

About 6 times in tristram in 1.10.
That's normal tristram and with pretty much no mf at lvl 14

after playing for four years, I have never found one. I have traded for one though. That's probably your best bet. Traded a sorc skiller gc for one.

i got one a few months ago from the forgotten tower. this doesn't matter, but it popped from one of those tombs with the yellow image on top, in the corridor with multiple tombs and torches. i had little or no MF.

I have found more than a couple in Tristram as a low level character will little or no MF .

Coldcrow is the best source there is nothing better, also try to kill Dk.Ranger boss packs in the cave you come across. Tristram is quite bad for TC3, Griswald drop almost nothing and monsters have low chance to drop from TC3.

I found several of mine from the council members on DoH3. You may get other low uniques if you are looking for them too that way.

lol notice that many people have reported finding in Normal Tristram. I myself have found at least 10-15 Gulls in there, but as a blizz mfer (of course using my 1pt in orb cuz so fast for trist running friends :D ) I moved rather quickly through and by the time i had doubled back someone else had picked it up. I asked for it and threatened to end the runs but all i got was silence.

Yes, probably the best place to look for a Gull would be on the trade forums in game our on this website... Gulls are worth peanuts (never trade a sorc skiller gc for one as someone posted, i got all my gull trades for 5-10 pgems and the skillers are worth at LEAST 40). Try running Trist, heading only for Griswold and the unique that always spawns near him - sometimes there is even another unique just north of Cain's Gibbet between the burning houses.
