I have been playing single player for ages buy never played online. I have a bunch of items i would like to get trade but im not really sure if they are worth anything or how to trade them. i know...real newb questions for a game thats been out for a long time.

Anyway i have:

The best thing you got there is Barana's Star, which is worth quite a bit since it's very good for a Zealer, and since all (ALL (I REPEAT: ALL)) Paladin builds are expensive, you can get high value for it.

The Gheed's might be good depending on how much % Magic Find it has. Near 40% makes it very VERY good.

Now... I don't understand you. Are you playing online now, and that's what you have? What Realm are you playing in? I might be able to give you some stuff. :p

SP items cannot be traded in realm games. In fact, they can't even be brought into the realm. Don't bother trying to trade them on Open battle net, since it is full of hacked items. If you really want to trade, you can try the single player forum. Also, even Banarar star doesn't worth that much. After all, there are many better pally weapons out there, like heaven's light, astron's rod (spelling?), etc (not to get into dupewords like Grief). The rest are basically traded for pgems, or maybe a Ko or so.
