Classic vs Expansion-which do you enjoy more?

Hi,

I just got the expansion and was wondering which one you guys thought was better. I switched over my barb character to the expansion and the expansion seems a lot harder. I wanted your guys' opinion on which one you think is more enjoyable. Basically, I want to have a good character who can kill things in hell solo and is good for mfing. I know there are runewords and jewels and stuff in the expansion which i have to learn more about, but I basically want to know whether i should switch my characters over to the expansion or to stay with the original. The reason i got the expansion was that i heard there were better items in it and i thought it would be more fun to mf in the expansion. What do you guys think? Is the expansion too hard? What's the best character to use in either expansion or the original? Should i stick with the original? thx

expansion imo has much more to it and isn't hard at all really. there are differences such as runewords, charms, jewlels, and yes a bigger stash!. it will be harder at first i believe when u convert due to the best gear in classic will not be the best for expansion.

there are many builds that are good for expansion, be sure to check out the guides sticky'd in each class forum.

The bigger stash is good. but it seems my stash is allways full, no matter how big it is. :(

The expansion to me seems better in all aspects. New items, bigger stash, etc. Charms are very important.

Generally speaking, classic characters dont do well in the expansion. I would suggest starting a new character in the expansion, maybe try one of the new classes.
