I heard this rumor, or something like it. I'm to lazy to test it :rolleyes:, but it sounds like rubbish. Has such a phenomena ever existed?

I think so, but I am not sure. It only works on normal monsters (obviously) so its not that big of a deal.

Just tested this on single using an editor to provide a bow with +18 freeze target, and boots with 100% crushing blow. Went to canyon of the magi, started unleashing very fast strafes on the scarabs.

They would sit there for a couple seconds, frozen solid, with crushing blow going off quite quickly on them.

I'd say there's nothing to this rumor.
