Frenzy barb....vit or dex?

Well I have a frenzy barb, and I dont know what to poump the remaining 225 stat points into. He currently has 109(no points used)dex and 233 vit which gives him 7k attack rating, and 2.5k life with bo. I'm not going to use angelics to boost my ar. Should I just rely on items for any more ar or should I invest in dex.

what weapon does your barbarian use?
Mace? then I suggest base dex or reach requirement for weapons
btw 7k ar is enough in pvm

He's sword.....and I plan to use him for pvp.

You aren't going to do very good in serious pvp using Frenzy, unfortunately. Against casters, you need a mobile attack skill like whirlwind (with leap), and against other barbs you'll need a shield. Similarly, if you fight other bards, you're going to HAVE to use angelics, whether you like it or not; there's just no other way to get enough AR.

To answer your main question, however: DO NOT PUT POINTS INTO DEX. The only two reasons to ever put points into dex are either to reach max block, or to equip your weapon. You have no need for either of those, thus no reason to invest in it. The amount of AR that you get per point of dex makes it pointless to dump points there for that reason. Put them into vit; you can use charms/demon limb/gear to get plenty of AR :)

Swords are the worst choice for frenzy due to the general high dex requirements for many elite swords compared to elite axes and all that dex won't help you due to not having a shield. This is why axes or maces are better in general for frenzy, letting you pump your vitaliy to over 300 base.
