Socketing Hone Sundan

Which would be better: Shael Amn Amn or Shael Shael Amn. I am not rich on ladder so I don't have any fancy jewels. The weapon will be used by an Act 2 mercenary. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer!

Personally, I'd probably go with the Shael + Amn + Amn. With the hone sundan, one shael will take the merc to 8.5 fps (or 2.9 attacks per second), while a second shael will only take him to 7.5 fps (3.1 attacks per second), and that may not be worth it over the extra life leech.

That's just me, and I hope I dragged the figures from the right area.

EDIT: Now that I have slept on it I'm considering making the third rune an Eth since the merc wears a LL circlet and will soon be wearing a Tal's Mask. Any thoughts on that?

Well, just remember that -target% only works at half efficiency on bosses (so the 25% granted by the eth would be 12% against a boss).

That said, the more life leech on the merc, the better. Personally, I'd go with the 2xAmn's. I've never had a problem with my merc being unable to hit.
