WW Vs Ubers

Im Hc and ive just recently got all the keys need and fancy taking on the ubers with my WW barb.

My gear is
BOTD CB
Arreats
Angelic Ring+amulet
Storm
Steelrend
Verdungo's
Gore
Raven/natures peace
Anni.

No i just have max all res in hell but is this a suicide mission?

You forgot to mension what armour you use. It could be good to konw.

Your build seems pretty ok but i think u really need to stack more resists if you only have max resists. I would also suggest that you dich that natures peace ( as it doesnt prevent minion raising ) for another raven ( if u need more ar ) or a dwarf star for fire absorb. Also i would considering switching your belt for a thundergood so u get decent light absorb. And also, dont forget to cast lifetap before you start fighting.

1 word y it is a sucide mission ww is no good against ubers cuz u cant leech them very well, u have a better chance using concentration or, double swing - frenzy.

also ditch the rends they are not that good anyway and get a pair of dracul gloves cuz u will need life tap.

Also u need more res gear to be able to counter the conviction, something like a treachery or a few absorb items such as tg and raven frost will go a long way.

plus wot are ur charms layouts ur stats, etc post them so we can offer abit more help and also wot armour u using?

A bunch more Crushing Blow wouldn't hurt either.

1) WW can't trigger lifetap

2) WW is very mana dependent compared to smite, zeal or frenzy

3) WW cannot specifically target an uber in a monster pack with the ubers

combine these 3 with hardcore mode and you see it isn't a good idea

Eeven with 1 point in cons you should be able to kill ubers.But you will need some life tap charges, coz 25% from dracs takes some time to trigger(if you'r unlucky that is);)

I did Uber Tristram with my conc barb and it was VERY HARD. I died a few times, in spite of having very good equip and stats. With WW you will be out of mana in a few seconds. If you are HC, be ready to loose all you have, unless you find a group of friends to do it with you.

No i dont need to buy items off ebay i have hundereds that my hammerdin has found but there you go some of us can do baal runs hell to find stuff and some cant.


My armour is fortitude.

I just wanted to know if it was possible with barb just to do something different for a change.

But i think i will just stick to my smiter to do them
