ok i was just told by someone that when ppl do pit runs they mean the pit of acheron in act5, not the pit in act1....
which pit is the one ppl do for drops?

act 1 pit outside monestary gate i think?
somwhere around outer cloisters and monestary gate, but ya its the act 1 one.

They mean the pits in Tamoe Highlands, Act I. This is a level 85 area where any item of the game can, and will eventually, drop. The main targets are the bosses, and their minnions to a lessor degree. Popping the chest on level 2 is a bonus, but not the real aim.

That being said, running the chest in the pit in Act V is an activity that can be highly rewarding. Those chest can drop any rune, and most of the players running them are looking for those ellusive trans-Ist runes.

Yes its the Pit located in act 1 take the path from the monastery it'll split one path goes to the black marsh and the other leads to the Pit. The best items are in in Hell difficulty.

yeah thought it was the act1 pit.... back to pit running and countess then... highly motivated to run her after finding a pul off her yesterday
