Most damaging berzerker weapon?

Hey folks,

I'm about to start my zerker and I'm wondering which wep mastry I should go for? I've heard 2-handed axes are supposed to be the way to go, but I'm concerned about trading my phoenix for it ...

If I go with phoenix, I'd definately go axe and take a zerker axe on the side... if I don't, what weapon do you recommend?

And what runeword? (for either scenario, single z or 2-handed wep?) Grief? BOTD? Other?

Pretty much every zerk guide i've read suggests 2-handed weps are the way to go, can you suggest one?

I suggest, tomb reaver, ebotd ghost spear, ebotd great poleaxe

1 hand i think Doom zerk can do good, since you are venerable when you hit someone(circle halo thing on top of your head), however, when holy freeze freezes them, you get to hit them more so they dont counter your attacks. imo though

Do NOT use a 2-handed weapon with Berserk unless you have an infinite supply of Full Juv's. Using berserk, your only line of defense is to have a shield and 75% blocking. If you use a 2-handed weapon, monster packs will tear you apart. BoTD BA would be best wep IMO. I happen to use BoTD CB just cause it looks cooler :rolleyes: Good luck~

BA? Do you mean Berzerker axe? Sorry, I usually referr to it as "z", haven't seen it referred to as BA before if that's what you're talking about :p

BotD TM (thunder maul)+ faith using Rogue merc (to hit 10 fpa zerk). Warcry for crowd control. Enjoy 1 hit killing every normal monster in hell.

for a bezerk u will get huge dmg using a 2 hand weap but ur also more vulnerable.

At least when u bezerk with a shield u still have max block to protect u but to go 2 handed and u get swamped by monsters = ur dead.

but i woud personaly say Doom or Botd BA cuz they doo hughe dmg and nice mods, but wot i preffer about the Doom is the holy freeze will at least slow ur enemie down which is usefull.
