Grief For WW Barb?

Hey Folks-

I am remaking my WW Barb and if I could pick between 2 choices being:

Grief Phase
EbotdCB

Which would offer more WW damage? My first thoughts were Grief, since Grief seems to out do any other weapon melee wise.

Thoughts are appreciated.

You could try trading that Grief phase for a 34+ ias grief zerker to optimize your dmg with ww since range is taken into account.

either way, grief wins.

well, imo grief pb is only good for smiters only because of the range if you
already have grief pb try to trade it for a grief ba with 34% ias or more.
and i wouldn't use botd if i could afford grief ba.

Grief is superior in terms of pvp or pvm damage but the botd dual leech in pvm frees up all your jewelry slots, letting you use a nice setup such as dual ravenfrosts for awesome vitality + near cold immunity

If you are set for pvp then leech of course means nothing and botd can't compare to even the crappiest grief weapon

I have found that whenn using grief in PVM all you need is 5% mana leach with the high damage you will be doing in WW so all you really need is one ring with at least 5% mana leach and it will not need to worry about the BOTD yet the repairs on grief, etc. are a pain where BOTD needs no repairs.

Yes i know pvm mana leech can be quite low when you have high damage weapons

Unfortunately compared to hell monster damage the same can't be said for life leech

My frenzy barb with death + beast axes loses life extremly fast in hell with just 5% arreat's life leech, even though he is swinging in a stationary position the whole time

i have used dual grief phase blades with medium stats, and dual e botd zerkers with perfect stats. And I think that pvm, i killed alot faster with grief. equipment used was the same also stat point distribution. Not much faster, but enough to kill monsters before they chould hit back :D

can grief reach last breakpoint for whirlwind in a Colossus Blade?

Yes, but it has to get 39 or 40% ias on the roll.

i also think if u make grief in a ba it has to get beyond 34 ias to hit last breakpoint but im not to sure.
