Hi,

i am new to diabloII LOD and after making a necromancer and a sorceress i want to try a bowazon. do you think a build like this is ok?

20 strafe
20 cold arrow
20 freezing arrow

valkyrie 17
dodge/avoid/evade: 3
critical strike:1
penetrate:5
pierce:5

consider that I got few rares items I found with my previous char but thats it, i dont have any uber uniques you guys uses

Is my build ok? Is 2 attack skill(Strafe, Freezing Arrow), wasted points?

Thanks in advance

I'd advise you to leave of building a strafer until you have a good bow for her. Windforce and Witchwild String are the two bows I like best, and I think WWS isn't too rare. It's a very tedious build to play without a decent bow.
Skystrike and Lycander's Aim are good leveling bows IMO.

Edit: removed bit about skills, as next post anwers your question better.

Strafe/FA is a fun build, and not wasted points at all! FA is mana-intensive, so you can usually leech back with strafe, then switch back to FA. Also, there are lotsa CIs in Hell, and Strafe is your answer.

As long as you can cast a L17 Valk with +skills equipment, you don't need 17 hard points in her (in my opinion) as she rarely dies and can generally be cast in town with stashed switch equipment. When you need to recast her for placement on the fly, she's still useful at the lower level; depends on your style, whether you recast often.

heh I think I am the FA/Strafer's biggest fan :D
