PvP Sorc using phaseblade help!

Hi all,

This question is regarding my enchantress sorceress, which turns into a bear by using beast and uses a 6 socket phaseblade to hit stuff.


So far, I have put 4 shaels into it. People are telling me that I should put all shaels. Others say put a jewel of fervor and an eth.

What will eth do in pvp now? I read the description in the FAQ but I fail to understand it fully:

The Eth rune used to grant ITD in PvP, does it still do that?
No, it was a bug which gave the opponent -25% defence when atacked with an Eth'ed weapon. Now it gives 25% defense which is halved in PvP to 12.5%. Furthermore there rumors it doesn't lower overall defence therefore making it quite useless in PvP.

It doesn't do ITD anymore, I get that, but it gives 25% defense!?

What else could I socket my two open sockets?

Also, which breakpoint tables do i use when my sorc is in werebear form? Sorc tables or druid tables?!

It works like this:

Say you are trying to hit a barb. Lets say the barb has 200% enhanced defense from his shout. You're eth rune will be subtracted from that 200, which still leave him with quite a bit of enhanced def. So basically, eth rune sucks :).

theres a calc somewhere for wearbear speeds for non druids so try googleing for it. its not the same as bear druid or normal sorc though. Eth runes are mostly useless in pvp.

Fill you pb up with as many shaels or jewels of fevour with second mods as needed for the last bp then use um runes or fire facets in the rest of the sockets.

you should put 4xshael + 2x15 IAS jewels with AR to reach max speed, you need 110 IAS on a -30 base ias weapon to reach max speed on bear. It's the only way.
