Do +Skills add to synergies?

For example if I have +9skills and put a point in one synergy (say Nova for CL synergy) will the CL get a synergy equivalent to +10points in Nova (the number in blue) or just +1 (for hard skill points only)

No

Only points used in a synergy skill adds for it.

IIRC
you will get the synergy bonus up to 20, be it hard skills or granted skills. If you have 20 hard skills in place then anything above that does not count as synergy bonuses.
I could be wrong, it has been a while siince I have been in to the statistics forum, even I am asking questions now, LOL. Not that I am a genius or anything, I just have learned alot from these guys.:thumbsup:

just to clarify - this means i only get a synergy for one point, not ten if i put a single point in something ahve have 9 +skills?

That is correct for all but one skill: Prayer. The synergy to Cleansing and Meditation takes +skills into account.

True, but that 'synergy' has been around since 1.07.
