i have a little question for you. can my ww barb solo trist.
the gear is as following:
helm: arreat with 40/15 jewel in it
armor: enigma 1467 def
belt: verdugo
Boots: gore rider
gloves: draculs
amu: perfect mara
rings: bul kabul and raven frost
shield: stormshield with 40/15 jewel
weapon: eth botd

or eth botd and beast.

weapon switch is 2 bo spears

my skills ar as following:
20 ww
20 axe mastery
20 bo
20 iron skinn

can i solo ubers ???

no, seriously, ur gear sounds nice, but how about ur health n stuff? stats wise... defence etc?

Havent had a chance to try ubers solo with my new ww barb yet, very similar set up tho. From what i've heard so far there is no way you can sustain ww on the ubers since you can barely leech off em. Go for max resist with mephs convic aura (-125) and most ppl use either frenzy or double swing. Dual wield is def the better choice. Just make sure to have tons of life, resists, and some good dmg.

Yeah, you have a pretty nice set-up, but whirlwind really sucks against the ubers, regardless of your gear. Conc or Frenzy are the way to go.

Why'd you go with 20 ironskin instead of 20 shout?

i got a little suggestion to youre gear

armor: coh/forti
belt: verdungo
boots: gores
gloves: dracul
rings: angelics
shield: storm
amu: angelic
weapon: ethbotd

for ubers coh > forti imo if ya take a good loon on it ya know what i mean:)

and with that setup you got like 8-10k ar at max? ya need around 20 to have a little chance to hit ubers~~

i will go for frenzy then only got 1 point in ww btw. i did iron skin because shout will be lvl 26 when i´m done. i think if will give me huge def.

but if ww doesn´t work. what will i do then. frenzy !!!

I have soloed Uber Diablo once with my IK Barb. WW definitively sucks vs Ubers, it sucked vs Uber D too. I just ended up dead, and dead again. Switched to conc and killed him without dying one more time.

u will need more than these lol. i don't actually think WW works that good on ubers. WW, concentrate and berserk for my barb(who has almost same gear as yours, except ammy and gloves) don't even kill lilith at all lol.

So wait, how much do you actually have in whirlwind? Because you said in your initial post that you had 20, and now you're saying you have 1.

Also, it's better to put actual points into shout, since it grants a synergy to both your berserk damage and your BO/BComm durations. Only actual points investment grant the synergy bonus.

I did Uber Tristram only once, with my conc barb (very similar equip) and it was HARD AS HELL! But I got my torch... You need a lot of RES and AR, and fight each of the bosses isolated (one at a time). It took me some 45 minutes (and some deaths)!

hmm i did Uber quite a few times, i used double swing which is very effective not only becasue its mana free but cuz its hard ot leech and those mana burn spectors exist in there. Also with double swing u have a better chance to cast life tap and u strike at high speeds so u do more dmg than 1 hand dmg.
When i tired with conc not only did it take time but also i died several times when i got the ubers life down over 3/4 then to go back in and find they are full healed LOL.

Btw ww is no good in uber cuz u cant leech properly.

but seriously wot ur res like, how much life do u have and how much ar u have. let us know and we can offer suggestions
