weapon mastery question

hey, ive never made a barb before and was thinking of making a frenzier and i would like some info plz, is the critical strike from a barbs weapon mastery the same as deadly strike from items? if it is would it stack up along with weapons and items? appreciate any feedback thnx

It is deadly strike but it wont stack it would do 2 seperate rolls and only one will actiavate iirc

thnx for the quick reply, so would i be better off getting weapons and items with high deadly strike % and not putting any skill points into weapon mastery cos it might cancle out deadly strike and insted maxing both frenzy synergies for more damage?

The AR bonus of weapon mastery is important I suppose. So chance is that u can't get around without one.

yeah i was just looking at the attack rating bonus for weapon mastery spose i cant do without it really so gonna max it, anyway frenzy attacks so often i will do deadly strike with my weapons more often than not, thx
