58/60 ias res armor?

Hi there!
Last week i found a "Jewelers arconplate of the centaur" (life based on lvl)
on one of my old 1.09 Amazons.

I was woundering if this +58all res/60 ias armor is worth using on
my new javazon??

or is CoH simply better?

Thoughts?

PvM I would go with CoH if I could afford it. The stats on it are very good for a javazon.

PvP I would go with the other but use different jewels.It might make a better bowazons armour.


15% res all 15ias jewels and the archon plate of the centaur are high value items but I wouldnt know if they would buy you a CoH.

I have a coh, and economy is not a problem for me...

just thought the 58/60 armor would be nice for reaching the 89% ias BreakPoint....

allso i dont need the resist from coh, in hell ill have max resist +50 stacked
(even more in stash if needet)

CoH is better in my opinion.

I'd pick CoH for stats, 20str/65resists/2skills, but the armor for style points. :clap:

Did you post a pic of this armor here when you first made it? back in the days of 09? I remember drooling over one with the same stats back then. I went on a 6 month jewel reroll jag because of it. It's still great style, and great armor. Just a bit old now.

Use the 58/60. They are the best armor for a CS zon in PvP. (and probably pvm).

i thought whale > centuar in terms of life and BO boost does not affect that + life from the centuar.

enigma > all other armor

man imagine a perf Jewlers of Whale. 4x 15/15 jewls. I would go for it.

CoH gives +skills, not needed for bowzon.
fort gives EDam, EDef, both needed but no IAS.

both missing that awesome IAS.
It would be like having Treachery on Steroids.

I think ill use the 58/60... just tested it on my old javazon.
It makes me throw Lightning Fury like CRAZY!!

And Charged Strike becomes much faster to.
The only thing CoH has over this armor is +20 STR and +2 skills

I dont really need the STR anyway as my storm is socket 15res/-15 req.
And Titans gives me +20 str.
Well, the +2 all skills i could use though :p

Anyway, i think speed is more important than +2 skills.
Hope my new javazon turns out great.

i know "of the whale" is better than "of the centauer"
but back in 09 there wassent any CtA around, making it
impossible to use BO on amazons.

I'd use ias/ res armour over coh anyday m8.
With the next ias BP you gain one more attack per frame (IIRC)
so you get A LOAD more dmg than from the +2 skills.

Just make sure you have 90 or 95 (whatever the last BP is) ias. Use imageshack or other hosting sites and link to there..

anyway, its easy to describe

Jewlers arcon plate of the centauer.
Socket 15res/15ias + 15res/15ias + 14res/15ias + 14res/15ias.

Two green jewels, 1 pink jewel and 1 white jewel.

This build is so great that i decided to make a new Javazone,
using a new armor i just made.

The Epic 60/60 Ias all res armor!!!!



After i made this thread, i received manny offers for my old 58/60 Armor.
Finaly i sold it to /w *RazorSurf. for 2 fresh 15/15 jewels.
That made me the happy owner of 4* 15/15 jewels.

Now i just needed a "Jewelers XXxxxXX Of the Whale"
luckely i found some one selling a "Jewelere ArconPlate of the whale."
So i traded that (it was rather expensive) and made my new
Epic 60/60 armor.

BTW. thx every one for comming with so manny good advice for my new
Amazone. :D
