Taunt?

If I have a level 50 taunt, -103% damage, does that mean the monster will deal zero damage, or am I missing something?

AFAIK, yes, the monster will do zero damage. But maybe that is - enhanced damage %. Not sure if monsters have ED% :scratch:

i have a level 50 taunt on my singer barb

no it does not reduce damage down to zero
all i know that it cuts hell cows attack damage me down to 20 damage
but i also have shako and nigma on so thats 18%damage reduce

one more thing, when u get rich enuff make a singer barb, VERY fun to play

taint reduces %ED. if the monster does a flat damage you can reduce it by a lot. im not sure if its capped at less than 100% though. its worth nothing that all hell monsters have an elemental component to their attack, and that many monsters cannot receive AI curses such as taunt.
