Here's what usually happens in a Hell Cow game.
1. Someone makes the portal
2. Some over zealous idiot rushes in
3. He tries to take out a few cows and retreats, luring a huge horde towards the red portal
4. Everyone else that goes in after instantly dies
5. Everyone leaves
There are a few instances the cow game will go well, but those are rare.

true that is always most of the cases, plus u have idiots that kill the cow king while the person who can open is in the game, which means the person cant open anymore.
Also exp wise i find it a bit of a waste of time, ur better of doing a baal run or something cuz cow is always too tough and dangerous for the average pvm and very little exp
I only find cow useful for finding runes, armours with socks, i.e a 3sock archon plate wirefleeche etc.

And if u want to get a good cow game do it with high lvls and ppl with strong chars dont do it with other low lvls cuz it always tends to go bad when u do it with ppl weaker than u or is not strong enough.
This will not just help ur exp but it will help ur chances of surival in there.

get a decent hammerdin or sorc friend

hork the bodies and ur done
if ur friend sorc, (no cold sorcs leave no bodies)
