Well, trade is finished, but I must to say this: This trade was NOT fair at all. Fenderson was simply raped of his skillers. Even though HoZ has a good def, I don't think that HoZ + IKSC are worth so many popular skillers, especially that some of them have good suffix like balance or sustenance. I shouldn't interfere, cuz it's not my trade, but I can't stand it, when rich ppl are doin things like this.
Looks like ppl on SP and BN are not that different after all....

Hey Wicket,

Thanks for sticking up for me. I didn't even expect to be offered either the HoZ or the IKSC, let alone both in one fell swoop. I thought the price may have been steep, so I thought for a couple of minutes about what each was worth... 2 skillers apiece? 3? 4? I decided just to go for it because I didn't think I'd have any other offers. The other deciding factor is that I'm getting tired of MFing. It feels like a job to me, and its starting to stress me out. I have a poor Meteorb Sorc that's been stuck running NM Baal in the vain hopes that he'll drop that shield. She wants to move on to bigger and better things... like Pindle... I decided that I had a better chance of finding/cubing the charms again, but the chances of finding the items was slim.

There are a couple of other items that I'm looking for that I'll post later, if I still have anything that anyone else wants. :)

Masas wanted all those items, so offered all he could (the entire ISO, remember). It's a problem when people post short ISOs, you sort of run out of items to offer. Just offering random stuff isn't very helpful.
And I don't really think Masas needs to rip people off to get items, do you?

There was no offer or signal of intent to add more items, and someone who's been an active trader as long as Masas knows full well what a preposterous offer that was. It was only after Wicket pointed out what a lopsided deal it was that Masas felt the need to save face and offer additional items.

Of course once a trade has been consumated, no one is under any obligation to even out the deal and more power to whoever got the better end of the deal, but it's unbelievable for anyone to say that Masas didn't knowingly and intentionally rip off a less experienced trader.

EDIT: So this isn't a completely OT post, could I see the readouts on the Wisp and Mara's?

Why would Masas need or want to do that though? Doesn't really make sense, look through his past trades, does't look like the trading pattern of someone who need to rip people off.

How does a Tal's Armor + Trang's Belt for the BKWB and Mara's sound? I have a spare Tomb Reaver (only 1 socket) in 1.10 as well if you would prefer that over the armor or belt.

@Humphrey: Then are you saying that Masas didn't know the relative value of the skillers to that of the HoZ + IKSC, or that the trade was fair?

I've no idea about the value of those things. Just that I don't see why Masas would need to rip someone off. He has given away 2 WFs that I know of, I think he could spare a HoZ and a IKSC... I assume that he just didn't know what else to offer.

If you run pindle long enough, you'l find WF, IKSC and other TC87 items. But if it comes to skillers, that's another story. It's not that easy to find good ones (lion branded, chilling, harpoonist etc), especially with a really good mod (sustenance, vita, balance). You may find two WFs and never see a skiller with 35+ life, that's why he took all skillers with additional mods.
And mf doesn't affect skillers at all (it only counts when rolling for a Gheed).

Well, I can add Ravenlore, Tomb Reaver, 10% Nightwings Veil, M'avina's Embrace, M'avina's Caster, Leviathan, Arkaine's Valor, Skullder's Ire, Thunderstroke, and maybe some more random stuff.

Oh, and about the ripping off part. I was expecting to get my first offer rejected, then was going to ask for a longer ISO, and then offer a bigger batch of items. However, I was pretty much stunned by Fenderson accepting the offer, and being the greedy bastard I am, snagged the skillers as fast as I could, thinking that I will make up for that later. Via PM or E-Mail of course.

@Masas: Did you have any of the TC87 items for trade? Death's Web/Darkforce/Griffon's? I am definately interested in the Ravenlore. I have no idea how many more items would make this more even. I'm not out to be a greedy bastard either.

If you're not sure about value of the items, just wait for more offers, and don't jump on the first one you see. You should wait several hours (or maybe even a day), so other users could see your trade post.

The number of times I've seen n00b misjudgements of trade values is rising. Maybe its worth appending the FAQ with a brief outline of item values? Especially to establish the value of things like skillers.

I don't think much ripping off takes place, since everyone else is policing, but it'd be nice to avoid these messes in the first place and avoid all the finger-pointing.

17,300 Pindle runs has netted me 42 tc87's, including 2 WF's. Total skillers dropped - 3, 2 plain jav's and a plain summoning.

Kabal and Wicket have it right. Shame on you Masas. You're rich enough you could have at least traded way down with him.

About getting skillers from pindle - 19,800 runs gave me 8 skillers. 3 of those are Defensive aura and one is a Curse skiller, so in the end it probably evens out. I identify all charms that drop from him or his minions.
To Fenderson: I have to say, I'll before there isn't as much activity in this thread before sending them, because currently I could jeopardize some trade offers.

In terms of trading. An item found while using rrm is considered a rrm item. If you trade for that item and then use it in a game and find another item, which you intend to trade, the new found item is now considered a rrm item, for trading purposes, as well. Bottom line is, if you use traded items, found using rrm, you might as well use rrm yourself.

Tal's armor isn't as high a priority as some of the other items, especially without the amulet. I am looking for a Tomb Reaver, preferably one with more than 1 os.

My top priorities are Death's Web and Windforce, then Tomb Reaver and Ravenlore.

I would also like to settle with Masas, and see what he has to offer.

Masas sent a bunch of items to even out the deal. I no longer need Tal's Armor, Ravenlore, or Nature's Peace.

I would like to thank everyone for their input on the original trade. Its nice to see that this place is self policed the way it is. I'd also like to thank Masas for sending more stuff, since he really didn't have to.
