Griffon's Eye: Worth it?

I have an LF javazon, with a level 36 LF. With a level 36 LS and level 33 CS, I do 2k damage per bolt. However, it lacks lethality in Hell Act 4 & 5 (up to 5 LFs to kill Urdars, etc.), and I frequently find myself going to LS (3k per "arc"), and especially CS (~3.5k per bolt; 9 bolts). Would Griffon's Eye's -15-20% to enemy lightning resistance and +10-15% to lightning skill damage, as well as +1 to all skills, be enough to make my javazon lethal in all acts of the game (including breaking immunity of "regular" Lightning Immune monsters?) What does a Griffon's Eye go for? The highest rune I have is an ist...

Also, would Ice be worth the price as a switch bow? Or is it only effective on dedicated Frost Maidens?

Griffon's eye is godly for a javazon. I have one and i do over 7k CS and over 3k LF, thats enuff to kill almost every in the game...except for lite immunes of course. I have griffons, coh, maras, phoenix, eth upped titans, bk, frost, treks, and java gloves for pvm.

He means a crystal sword with the runeword Call To Arms (cta) with 6 to Battle Orders (BO). It's used to prebuff life/mana/skills. I think you already knew this.

Griffon's is über. There's no better hat for a LF jav.

depends on how good it is... 2 ist must be a quite low one, i gave 8 ist for mine, it is between 2 ist - 4 hr.

on nl i traded 2 soj and an ohm rune for one socketed with light facet jewel.

Anything like this is far out of my league. Blame Diablo 2's economic system for making it hard/impossible for poor people to get good items and runes :/

exactly why there are people duping and people making money from items etc on the net. if blizzard really didnt want people to dupe theyd make everything easier to aquire. hey atleast it's something for you to try and work for though :P with the same level skills i do 4.7k charged strike damage and 2.6k lightning fury so it definitely is something worth investing for.

Investment requires venture capital, something of which I have a ridiculously low amount. I think the next patch should make it so that since mid-high level runes Exceptional/Elite items have little/no chance of dropping in normal, lower level runes and Normal items have little/no chance of dropping in Hell. I'm sick and tired of doing endless countess runs for one El rune each. Oh, and the occasional Tir.
