Some tips please.

Lo every1, as u can see I´m new to this forum, but not new to the game. Played d2 for many years back in the day of 1.09 but unfortunantly RL started to get tough and had to quit and lost account, chars, everything.
Decided to come back now, and was wondering what the "money" is now in d2. I remember that before it was sojs, you basically could buy wtvr with those, but what about now? And what are the "prices" for like the basic classic stuff for a zon for example (char I made 1st after 3 years of not playing), vampire gaze?, shaft? eaglehorn/windforce? how much is all that now?

Would appreciate the help :)

PS: Oh and btw, if there is newer and better equip in 1.11 let me know.

If you skipped 1.10, then half of what you know has changed. Check out the runewords on the Arreat Summit (http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/runewords.shtml). There are also new uniques and 2 new realm-only "quests" to do.

those are rarely seen now, there are much better substitutes

currency is mainly RUNES now, with the addition of sojs and duped rares on non-ladder
