anything else for grief than pb and ba?

I am making a zealot and I dont have enough funds to make botd, so I am going to make a grief, if I make it in ba I need to roll 40 IAS to hit last fps, cuz I will be using 20 ias gloves. and phase blade looks so damn ugly, I was wondering is there another option?

5 soc War spike Priit...It is an axe after all...and you ll be needing a total of about 40 ias,so if you roll that in grief you need no more from gear. But really since the damage from grief is not very different whether the base weapon is zerk pb naga or war spike the choices are really two. Zerk for range or pb for easy speed (and indestructible).I went pb but i will make a zerk one too sometime in the future.

Grief is the best weapon for a zealot (in my opinion, i'm not gonna start another thread where everybody has an other opinion because there simply is no "best" weapon for a zealot)

Grief does offer versatility. You'll be some heck of a smiter when maxing holy shield and using grief.

I've done it in a PB because it's fast, it alow's you to wear dracul's (no extra ias needed so i din't had to wear my 20 ias gloves) and it looks seksy.

I am going to use grief and that wasnt the question, questin was what weapon to make it in? and I got my answer, it will be a war spike..

If you want to trade the Grief after you have used it, I would not use a war spike, coz people will only buy PBs or BAs(made a botd in an eth War spike once 387, was basically impossible to sell). My choice wouldd be a PB (why do u think it's ugly?)

i'm wondering because i want to make a max damage zealer with eBOTD zerker, fortitude and a pheonix shield, with steelrends and a pride on merc. Is grief still better? does fortitude and pheonix hit the added damage from grief?

According to a known online damage calculator the average (which is what matters) damage from 415% ebotd zerk axe+forti+phoenix is about the same with a 370 pb grief+forti (no phoenix) after adding the deadly strike that grief has...If you want a zealot that reaches the theoretical max damage (ignoring average) perhaps botd is the way but if you really want the highest average damage get the best possible grief...
