WWS ladder runner 2.0

Hi all,

I dumped all my non ladder posessions at the start of the new ladder season and started a new WWS zon.

Currently Using/Wearng:
170% Witchwild String Upped and socketed w/ Shael/31%ED Jewl
Tal Rasha's Death Mask Socketed w/ 15% IAS Jewl
Highlords Wrath Ammy
Treachery Dusk Shroud (45% IAS)
Razortail Belt
RavenFrost/Rare LL/DEX/RA rings
Goblin Toe boots

Harmony Stag bow on switch.

I use the Harmony for Valk Prebuff and in norm/nm games where I don't need high resists. It kills everything quick and easy.

I recently found a Perfect Dusk Shroud with 15% Enhanced Defense and 4 open sockets. This screams FORTITUDE like nothing else that I have seen. Switching to Fort means giving up 45% IAS :( This drops me to 75% IAS with my current socketing setup (shael/31% ED Jewl)

What should I do? should I give up the Enhanced Damage and resocket with 2x Shael or learn to live with a 9/3 strafe rate? :confused:

Also How hard is it to find/reroll a 15% IAS/8 min damage Jewl?

After some research I came up with a few numbers:
Crimson +5-8 To Minimum Damage (ilvl 38)
Fervor 15% Increased Attack Speed (ilvl 39)
Kinda low ilvl when you think about it. Normal cows/chaos would probably be the place to look for jewls with 2 affixes.

I'll probably go with shael/shael after I finish my Fort but what do you think?

so what's the glove you r using?
I socketed my wws with shael-shael right the way so I didnt experienced ur dilemma :cool:
If I were you of course I will resocket the bow with shael-shael. I have a 14 max/15 ias jewel pity that we are in different realm.

My gloves are a work in progress (see this post) (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=386712)

Gloves are Crafted Hitpower Heavy Bracers:
Knockback
20% IAS
and I forget the rest but it was enough for me to choose them over cleglaws.

I am still looking for Heavy Bracers to craft, hopefully, something better.

PS: as an edit to my comment on where to find ilvl 39 Jewls I would like to correct myself and say not Normal Cows or Chaos but Normal Frozen River where these monsters are found:

Good question, I found one a couple weeks ago and I don't think I've ever seen one before. IIRC, it dropped in NM Flayer.

To be honest, I have never found an IAS Jewl with a second mod. Hence the idea about the reroll excercise.

Laying of hands are Great gloves, not good, Great! However knockback saves me from reviving my merc so often. It also pushes away those monsters that come from unexpected places. This is really bad without knockback since I sometimes don't have time to reposition myself to save my ***.

I wear LoH in public games where KB would piss off the other players.

well look at me.

I finally traded 4 GC skillers and a bunch of medium runes for LO and made a +26 Fort. The 215% Enhanced Def looks great and my light resist is 80 in hell. I can fight my way through souls in hell like it's nightmare.

Dex is at 447, Vit is only 20, and Life is 438 with equipment.

Damage is decent, 868-1381 with normal attack and 729 - 1155 with strafe.

I have 2 sharp GC, passive GC, and a slew of resist small charms and a fine small charm. As I get better charms I can start to move some of the less effective ones out to make more room.

Currently resists are 34, 27, 80, 75.

I hope to score some War travs in the future or perhaps crafted saftey boots. I really need to get that fire and cold resist up somehow. Perhaps infernostride.

wish me luck. currently at 90 and I am pushing tonight for lvl 91.
