Intro and looking for some items

Hi all, Been playing D2 SP for a while and just discovered this site not long ago. I play a bowazon and she lvl 72 right now but is getting torn apart in hell. I've tried doing meph runs in NM but her damage sucks with some socketed gothic bow. Anyhow, looking to trade for a nice bow for her. Not sure as to pricing and what not, but I just got atma and have a pretty small trade stash. I'll list what I have and if you have anything I need, maybe we can work something out. Also, forgive my noobness to the boards.

Looking for a good bow;

rare ammy with +38 life, +39 mana, 50 poison over 3 secs, +1 druid skills and 9% damage to mana

On character I have

Crown of thieves

socketed gothic bow w/ 4 P emeralds
rares for the rest that are decent

Anyhow, let me know what ya think. If I need to save up more before I trade, let me know

Hi there, you'll want to post an intro on the Single Player Forum (http://forums.diabloii.net/forumdisplay.php?f=3) as well.
I don't know if you'll accept my items, as I use RRM (turns the rune text red so you can see them quicker on the ground) and RWM (enables the realm only runewords in SP), but if these mods are OK for you I'll look to see what's in my stashes.

btw you can't trade runes, or items containing runes, on this forum (problems with dupes and stuff)

Hi and thanks for the reply, I will definetley post an intro on the other forum. In response, I don't use any mods, but if they don't affect my personal gameplay (I wouldn't want dupes or anything), is there any downside? Also, sorry for the rune thing, will be more carefull.

Hmm, about the mods, is that some people don't like trading with other people using them, I dunno, maybe they think it makes the agme kinda "dirty" or whatever...

Maybe I've got something for you...Using normal bows sUx, I remember that I used a Zephyr Cedar Bow 'til a monster dropped a Endlesshail on Travincal(And, luckily, a Ghoul Lord dropped a Witchwild String some minutes later, inside the Durance!)

As GueLerMe said, some people prefer to keep all stuff they use vanillia (=no mod). I think most people are OK with the RRM, but some people don't want items from RWM as they think that the new runewords make the game easier (in all fairness Insight is very cheap and very good, and so are some others. So they could be right, so the items are easier to find as you may be able to kill quicker and so on.

No prob about the rune thing, though do go and read the SPTF rules if you haven't already.

thanks for the quick response. I guess in essense, purists play a certain way and if someone aquires an item differently, then they feel it is tainted, even if it does not effect their gameplay. I gotcha, I guess I better stick with no mod stuff as I'm kinda uptight about that kind of stuff then ( I even feel odd trading for items :p). At worst, I can change my mind later if I decide a certain mod is worthwhile (did some research, and the RWM is tempting, but no).

Also, Any idea if any of the stuff I have will get something decent? I glanced over the trade forums and it seems very hard to get a track on things except for uber gear that I will never see ( or at least haven't seen but one or two in three years casually playing before atma)
