the other day i was playing when i noticed this. i am building a zon useing fend as main attack, so being low level i got a act2 blessed aim merc so i could increase my attack rating. everything was going great until i put points into penetrate, and i noticed i started to miss a lot. so i checked it out and this is what i found. when i was in town i checked my attack rating and i had 85% chance to hit then i went back out to start the fight again with the mercs blessed aim aura, my attack rating dropped to 79% chance to hit. everything was the same when i checked this. the more point i put into penetrate useing a blessed aim merc, the worse my attack rating became. has any one else noticed this. i thought the attack rating percentages where supposed to be added together?

I think you missed the point Dacar. He's saying that his attack rating was lowered when he used a BA merc and started putting points in Penetrate, he didn't say anything about the interrupt bug.

Although I havn't noticed this exact thing myself, I have noticed that my Lvl 97 Palazon, using a Passion Cryptic Sword, maxed Penetrate and with a 95% CtH Fallen in the Normal Blood Moor misses a lot. There have even been times, when I have pk'd with friends, that I have seemed to hit Paladins more often than Fallens (in Hell). I have only noticed it in Act 1 and know that at least some of it is due to lag. I never noticed it in other acts, though, and it was never a problem in Act 1 anyway.
I would like some more info about this apparently lowered AR if anyone can find it.

i think fallens/carvers/etc. have a chance to block of between 10 and 50%....this might be why you are missing more than you think you should.
The Blessed Aim/Penetrate bug is nothing more than a display error, the LCS is doing something weird as usual.
