Passive REsistances?

Hello everyone, I was curious why I wasn't recieving benefits from my passive resistances. I stuck 1 point into lighting resistance and with plus skills it went up to 6. With 6 skill points, I should have a passive 3+ maximum lighting resistance right? I stuck salvation on, and it stays at 75 lighting resistance, not 78 ( 75+3). wierd?

+skills don't work with the passive resist, sorry.

Any kind of synergies (skills that effect other skills) aren't affected by +skills from items + skills. Only your hard earned manual skill points.

This includes any synergies that give damage / resi / etc. bonus.
