First question. I belive what your really asking is for a combo of weapon and sheild. Back in the day you would need to use use a bstar and tiemants rebuke. I belive now if you wanted to. Look for the highest elemental damage dealing weapon and use that with a tiamants rebuke on switch. But if what you have on switch is something else. Then do the math your self and go with that. What I do for phy immues is I use eather a amp damage source % by strikeing. Which basicly removes the phy immue on the monster. Or I use what you are talking about. Where my main weapon greif all ready has a good enuff for me, poison damage.

From the uniques probably stormlash unless we are talking about phys+light immunes. Just have gimmershred axes on switch and every time you meet phys immunes zeal them with them and when you are iron maidened throw them at the oblivions :). And if you are ladder and can afford use grief...In my book beats any botd...
