first things first....do we start over or twink on items? either way let's stick with the same accounts....save me some time creating new ones

i have gone through my mules and i should be able to come up with comparable equipment...the only thing i would be short is a set of crappy titans....upped eth would be a little much!!

i think dacar may be right though....these zons would seem tainted...i vote to start over again....we can always use the old zons as hell mules.

i think that is a good idea...i usually did this....i think if you check the posts with my finds you may see a few instances where i posted the "teaser" shot, showing the item unid.

one other thing that i will do is create one more account with a mule....any good items like your skiller or the maras that we would not be using on the zons would be xfered there for safekeeping until the end of the tourney....you guys can trust dacar and myself with the pass to that one right?

Of course. And yes, that's exactly what we need to do, an acc just for prize items, things that's worth something but completely useless for the two zons.

i think dacar had some good ideas...anyone else who wants in, gets a password only after everyone else sends their approval by pm to dacar

we will definitely go with passwords known only by your team....one zon may be stripped but it would be highly unlikely for it to happen to both

any new player will have to be a member of the forum for six months

i will leave it up to dacar to post a truncated list of our new teams

What didn't work for me was the limited amount of time I found available to play canzon. This team(can) has some dedicated troopers, often I couldn't get on until late night west coast time. I think Tiny had the same problem. To fix this I suggest doing a three on three, all zons of course, with three mules.
That would take way too long to complete. A better solution would be to limit the amount of play time per member. Say 3 hours every day is the limit or something. This way, you don't have to worry about someone else staying on there for 5 hours while you don't get a chance to play.

3 on 3 may be stretching things thin...especially if someone drops out....i hesistated to post a schedule but it may be a solution....i know that our ironman...sirmessbu was able to play longer hours because he was on vacation...i think that is ending soon....i certainly wouldn't object to a 3 on 3 though.

Maybe, maybe not, a threesome can get through this game way faster untwinked than any solo can. More than three times faster. The problem would be reversed now, getting three people in a game would be tough. I can see a lot of time being spent by one person trying to get a straggler caught up.

It might be slower, but this would open up some major creative opertunities.

This looks like a very fun idea. I get these big lag spikes on my connection sometimes so I'd probably get it killed if I took part unfortunatly. But it looks very fun.

2-on-2 or 3-on-3, doesnt matter to me, I just want to have fun in that competition.

I am sorry to see that I took on some players time, for futur gaming just take time to message on the zon to see who is on it. At time I would gladly left the zon to someone else.

For the 6 month of registration I dont correspond, so can I still be in the competition guyz?

But i do agree with you about starting over, and ofcourse im in.
But the thing is, as someone mentioned, that i didnt get much playtime with Canzon :( . So if we start over i would be glad to atlesat get to play her for a couple of hours a week or something (I probably wont get much more time either since ive got much to do in school at the moment, but anyway)

And again, Why? Why ruin all the fun of this competition for us? :(

I say start over with new lvl one characters and no twinking.

Delete the mule characters and use the higher lvl ones as mules now ;) that would speed up muling in hell and nm games.

PPS: I had a lem rune stolen in a mule game with a player called *b_money someone I thought I could trust. So I would like to know the person who did this in case we run into each other online I know not to trust them.

These 6 people will vote on everyone else who wants in. I think 5 per team is enough. Maybe 6. The teams will be built upon these 6 names. If your name is not listed, please post here that you want in and they will all send me a PM with their "vote". We'll see how this works.

Dacar and Superdave are the team leaders. The build plan must be approved by them. Stat points dont necessarily have to be approved by anyone, but skill points must be agreed by the team before you spend them.

I think a certain level of trust must still be here, so screenies of items before ID'ing may be too many screenies. We'll try it like we did before. If you find a halfway decent item or an uber one, you must say who gave it too you and where. Then post a screenie as well. There are plenty of good players, who like me, may be skeptical, and will raise the alarm if need be.

No twinking!

Let's start at level 1 in normal. We can use the same accounts, but there will be a separate psw for each team and Dave and I will be the only ones who know both. Old characters can be hell mules. Use another mule until then. That way we will have two mules and the prize package will be that much better.

Let's get to the top of the ladder! Game on!

P.S. I will not be able to post any screenie's until after this weekend. My comp has gone screwy and a few programs are corrupt, like my photo editor. I will be doing a hard disk wipe and full system re-install :( on Saturday or Sunday (or whenevr my Lacie ext. Hardrive arrives so I can save my music and photo files, they said it would be here by Saturday). I hope my reputation around here will instill some trust in other players until Monday. I also don't think I'll be picking up a perf Mara's or an eth Titans in norm :p .

I was pretty happy with the build as it was. If we go with bow right out the door some skill points will be saved. Just an idea, MA is a great one point wonder, but it is even better at about three points. I wouldn't put any more than 3 into it though.

I would like this thing to start tonight. I believe we can start with the three players on each team. But would like to build it up to 5 or so.

Remember guys, if you are not allowed to play in this one, don't take it personally, but wait until the next one. If you are turned down, it only means that we don't know you well enough yet. Just keep coming here and posting and making a difference in threads. You will gain respect quickly that way. I think there will be plenty of tourneys in the days and months ahead. I am going to keep in mind (actually on a piece of paper) who plays in which tourneys so most everyone gets a chance.

i have been doing a little ruminating(old geezer word) about possible builds....what do you guys think about a pure strafer....pumped dex/strength to equip/base life? they are a challenge to play...especially untwinked but the damaged output is second to none...plenty of points to spare for passives...a few in d/a/e....plenty in penetrate so we are sure to always hit(a miss may mean instant death), good pierce, high critical....and we can field a godly valk....recast her only when you need to reposition....a few percent leech will always keep the bulbs full.....the only things to worry about is ranged attacks and elementals....both can be negated with good strategy or equipment.

a challenging build to play...you always have to be on your toes

20 LF
10 CS
20 plague jav
10 poison jav (the last thing to spend points on)
1 in all prereqs. (maybe a few in Jabm we can decide later)
17 in valk.
1 in all passives (hopefully we get some + to skill stuff)

How does that sound? It is like Nidlavs build in our sticky. Read that for more info and game play tips.

I'd be interested in joining a team if there are still any openings. I prefer Bowzons over other builds. I've tried just about every Bowzon build possible and never seem to tire of playing the gal. I work days and live EST US so I would only be able to play nights or weekends. If not this time, keep me in mind for the next round.

Took her out in act2. I went out to the Rocky and she did well, so well that she ended up at the Dry Hills WP. Back to town and the sewers. The Blessed Aim merc is a great idea Dave, her chance to hit with normal attack is in the mid eighties. Still, I wanted more, when she hit 14, I put that second point into MA. Her chance went to 95 for regs and 90 against Rad, who went down like a sack of potatos. Feeling full of myself, I used the book to put MA at 3. Took at trip back to the marsh to see the countess to see if an ith would drop. Rats! eld,eth, but a 9life lc did drop on the way. Back to the hills to get the cube. Nothing dropped down there except the merc a couple times ;). I take that back, the cat boss dropped a rare belt, stamina, a couple resists and a little bit of life. Went to the Oasis WP and quit.

I then logged canzon on, essh! But the thief did leave some items on her, things Redux could use, jewelry, jewels, and chams. But they were all covered with slime. I think we should toss everything but the cube. Anything left on Us_zon?

yes your post count is low and your join date is very recent....hang out and contribute some more on the forums and especially here in the zon forum....the better we know you the better your chance of getting in for the next round.

I would rather not going poison jav on US_Zon. I want to stick wiht the build we were doing. i think it is much more versatile, I'm also not a patient man and don't care to wait aorund for poison to do it's thing.

I'm really busy this weekend, but I'll try to get on and get USzon started.

I tend to agree. It is slow, and maybe we can make better time, and keep up with Canzon if we use the same build as before. I think the LF java is more fun and a faster killer. Let's do the same again.

Please post a build you have in mind, regarding skill points. I am thinking this:

20 LF
20 CS
17 Valk
After we gat all we want in passives and strafe, we can add to LF synergy LS.
1 in all pre-reqs and in all passives (for now)

How many do you want in strafe? 7-10?

I should be able to play some today and then more later. The same thing happened to us last time. We got off to a slow start, but we were catching up. No worries.

sorry to hear you guys got boned out of the last competition. the idea was pretty sweet. id like to be in on this but unfortunately i dont have the time right now and i imagine most people dont remember me. i was pretty active on the forums about a year and a half ago. anyway, good luck to both teams and keep me in mind for future things like this.

quick question, are these characters hardcore? if not they should be, that would add another layer to the race. you die and your starting over. why should people be allowed to die 25 times to kill diablo?

i finished the act with no other good finds...i did upgrade the mercs hat....duriel dropped a rare sin weapon....he was not fun.....average ping was 480 in the tomb....i hate getting hit by "invisibles"

Took Redux out on brief run in A3. Got the bird, spider WP, and the eye. Swarzak dropped a rare claymore and heavy gloves, sold. Split the stats between dex and str. Glass cannon all the way! Saved the skill for lvl24.

A hardcore tourney would be a blast, but as I imagine you already know, soloing untwinked in HC is about the hardest thing to do in this game. It would have to be a team effort just for survival. Let's talk about it :D

More adventures in A3. Wandered from the spider into the marsh. Normally I would avoid this place because it's just a side trip, but she could use the leveling. She finally made it to the WP and sure enough, there was back door out of it that lead to the Flayer WP, cool. Worked my way to the Flayer village and just before I hit the Gidban this drops .

From zero to 8LL in a minute or so! Other good mods too! Didn't attempt the dungeon, need Decoy for that. Level 23, three skills saved.

Remember, no twinking and no rushing. Hit every quest and do not miss any WP's or you have to go back and get them.. The Canzon is named Redux and the Uszon is named Phoenix. Do not use the other characters on the account. One is a mule. Uszon is a LF/CS zon. Canzon is a strafer. I an not sure exactly what their build is, so better to chech with Superdave on that.

There are more items left on canmule. We need to address this. My vote is to toss them, but I want some input.

I took Phoenix out for a spin. Took out the Smith and got malus quest, Got Jail 1 WP, continued on and got Inner Cloister WP. Found some items she's using: rare armor, a better ammy (barely), and a rare spear. Also upgraded merc gear included gemming her bow. Added single skill pts in Lightning, Dodge and Avoid. Added a couple stat pts in Str to wear the armor. 53 Stat pts unused and 6 skill pts unused.

Since there didn't seem to be any other interest, took Redux out again. Made it to lower Kurast and lvl24. Spent the skills on decoy,avoid and strafe. I forgot you couldn't put another point into a skill at it's base level so I put the spare point into avoid. A rare ammy dropped but it is "iffy". It's in the stash.

Andariel has been vanquished! She was generous enough to drop two charms and two rares (both junk and sold).

I saved all the gems and rev pots for cubing. I purchased a better blocking shield and pumped some stat pts in dex to get blocking % higher. Still has 30 stat pts unused and 7 skill pts unused. She's at level 14 if I remember right.

Act II here we come!

I just had a few minutes to play this morning: took out Radament. 9 skill points saved. I found a 3 os long bow and gave it to the rogue merc. We can decide what to socke, do whatever you think best. Nothing of note except a rare hat with repairs durability mod! woot! :lol:

Took her out for a short time, the lag is pretty bad. Got the bazaar WP and muled the runes and most of the gems to canzon. Finally, a chipped skull drops. Lets leave it on Redux in the hope that she hits a gem shrine or two. Skulls may be our only source of ML for a while. Had another good GC drop, her fire res is now at 86! I wish we had that kind of luck with runes.

Completed Dry Hills, Halls of Dead and Far Oasis and their WP's. Got the Cube and Staff of Kings. Shortest run thru the tunnels I've ever had with both ways down in the next room from the entrance. Cubed all chipped gems up and rejuvs to fulls (6). Made it to level 18, added skill pts to Plague Javelin, Charged Strike and Penetrate, 9 skill pts still unused. Added to Dex to keep blocking near 70%, 30 stat pts unused. Didn't find anything much of value except Angelic Mantle - wearing that for the Def. Bought a ML short spear with a bit better damage than javelins we had from Act 1. I didn't add anything to sockets in Long Bow Merc using. Have variety of flawed gems for this I guess.

Phoenix available.

I am finally back home.

Could someone please post teams members and any that still need to be voted.

I will log on the zon in about 1 hour if she is availlable and should stay on her for the wole night. But if anyone wants to get on her whisper me ingame and I will gladly let ya have her. I have around 4 project caracter to levelup myself. Right now priority is the zon.

I read that some1 put 3 point in MA, is that magic arrow? Do we really need magic arrow for a glasscannon. I am not familiar with those.

picked up the last few wp's we need...grabbed the heart and smashed the orb after easily defeating the council...that high fire resist is sweet.

wish our light resist was higher for guys like this but redux took care of business

the screenshot showing meph may show that redux took him down with a magic arrow....a few points in ma will help out immensely in the beginning...it is something that we can always fall back on to deal with phys immunes latter if we can't get our hands on one of the following....harmony, reapers, atmas, or wws......we will be glad to have these points there then....a pure strafer always has points to spare.

that is the forge drop i usually get...

nice bow...the 4 % ml on the other bow is very low considering the crap damage we are doing.....if we get lucky and pick up a big damage weapon 4 or 5 % is usually enough on a glass cannon to keep the blue filled....until then...we will have to pot.

pike is very slow...did you try them both out...what one seems to kill the fastest? i would likely go with the pike for the extra damage...did the trident have any good mods?...i can't remember.

Finished Act II Viper and Summoner quests. Got all Act II WP's. She's up to Level 20 with 30 unused Stat Pts, 11 unused Skill Pts. Found a few low runes (tal being the rarest), two PR rings, LL ring, better rare armor, and a +20 life ammy. Put flawed gems in a 3 os composite bow for the merc. Duriel awaits!

I can clean any items. Do I also delete the char? Also, not sure about this so I'll ask: are we allowed to use the mule char to store anything? So far I all I dropped there was Wirt's Leg (heh).

Small update

Canzon-Redux is now level 29 and wandering in the ancient tunnel looking for the wp.

Fund a sol on my way, progression is slow but steady.

adddm; Ya can use both old zon for muling anything ya find but will have to get rid of previous findings.

If ya ever find a godly item and see no use of it, stash it on a mule for the winner package.

Act II completed with Duriel's demise! Plague Javalin was quite effective although I used a lot of healing pots to outlast him. His drop is here:

None of it was worth keeping so gold they have become.

Started Act III. Got the Spider and Great Marsh WP's and completed Golden Bird quest. No luck at all finding anything useful, just a few more gems/junk jewels and a Cathan's Seal ring from the quest drop. Char at Level 21.

I cleaned out the original Zon. She's 'naked as a jaybird' except for gold.

Phoenix is available.

Thanks for the quick reply. Too late for me to mule anything tonight. There are plenty of gems/jewels/runes that could be muled over (along with anything else our team feels we should save).

US_Team: do we keep our Act I merc? Any thoughts on either a Def Act II or a Cold Act III Merc instead? Also, I haven't been allocating many skill pts (added a 2nd to Critical Strike for Duriel) but I look to more experienced Javazon players to decide where and when these pts should go. I've been using Charged Strike a lot. Also, I tend to gamble a lot. If that's OK, what items should we gamble on and when?

Addm, if you look a few posts ago, I outlined the build we are planning. Not the poison route, but the lightning route. We will need something for lit immunes in hell, but we can decide that as we go, whether it is strafe or FA (for PI's) or both.

Once we hit level 30 we can start to pump LF and CS.

Sorry I didn't get to play much yesterday. Hopefully I can participate more tonight.

still not feeling well...so i am done for the night...might check in later though...got a few more levels...picked up a dol and io....grabbed the staff and book of skills, as well as a few more wps....pick up a magic bow with light damage...not the best but pumps out more damage per frame than the other slow bow could now that our strafe is a few points higher

Took the Oasis WP and ran into buzzsaw, boss scarab pack plus champ scarabs. This merc isn't up to it with this gear. Ran out of gold, sold the Millibragas.Went down to the Black Marsh to raise some dough and he dies again!

A might merc is the best if one has good equipment. We don't have that .Mind if I suggest a merc that will stay alive? Say, an HF merc?

ya, i know....it was only just slightly better than the bow we had....i planned on replacing last night by gambling or shopping but we were too low on funds because our merc kept dropping as soon as he would poke a group of beetles....our leech was so low on this bow, i swapped the ll ring for the manald...i don't get hit in the open and every little bit of ml saved me from potting constantly....i planned on heading back to act1 to restock the bank in hopes of getting a better bow for the next player but i felt so crappy, i had to go to bed....1st priority should be a new bow....2nd, better equip for the merc...we have enough for an insight yet?

i was thinking the same thing....with the new patch we won't have to go back and "train" a low level nm merc if we hire him later in the game....he should be close to our level.

I took care of the rest of act 3. Found the heart and did council and Mephy. But we are still level 24 and I died a few times. We should run meph a few times to see if we can find some nicer gear and level some. Meph did not drop anything execpt Milagrebas shield but I sold it. A decent low level staff and pally shield are in the stash and should be muled if you guys think they are good enough for the prize package.

There are about 9 skill points left. I placed some in CS so it was maxed for our level. She kills much faster now. She took out Meph in about 20 or 30 seconds. Maybe less. But she needs some more resists.

We are racing two zon untwinked to level 99, no trade or help, doing all quest and hitting all wps.

Will enventually play with other people once hell has been solo, and will play only with forum members.

I vote for making a treachery asap, fade will boost resist and venom will be great with strafe without forgetting the amazing 45% ias.

Perhaps we should socket the matri bow with all physical jewel we have and 1 or 2 perfect skull.

I fund a 3 socket cuirass 193 defense, Ill leave it in stash and wait for aprobation to make treachery in it.

Personnaly defense aint of much use to us and we could use the treachery right away.

Redux is now level 57 with 90 base str and 245 base dex, valkyrie lv10,penetrate lv12, strafe lv17,critical strike lv8.
I was thinking all remaining points in penetrate untill its maxed then finish strafe and get that valk to level 17 afteward.

Just did a clean up on mules, all jewels,runes and flawless/perfect gems are on original Canzon. Items and others gem are on Canzon-mule.

We still miss the shael and thul for the treachery but ill run countess untill I get them or untill someone take over.

Alright, I haven't been on in 4 days. I have to apologoze to my team...

I upgraded my OS to Tiger (OS 10.4, Apple) a few nights ago, and forgot that I don't have the original 'Play' disk for Diablo 2, just the expansion disk. So I have to re-purchase the game, which I will do. It's just taking me a few days to get around to it. I should be back in the game soon. I can also post screenshots now.

For anyone else using apple out there, Tiger is pretty slick, I'd recommend it.

it should be made in an elite bow....i have used this as an end game bow in several builds...very under-rated

i would also suggest holding off on making the treachery until we have an elite armor...unless of course we are not progressing fast enough...if you think the zon has hit the wall...then by all means make the runeword

i do think the bow would help us out more now

yes you guys are in for it now...it took me two days to catch up to ash' zon at ladder reset....only able to do that i think because his comp died.

i snuck onto canzon this morning, to take her for a walk in the park....that wws is end game gear....anyone who hasn't used one will be impressed once we get some ias on it....i put some more points into pierce....when this is higher i am sure you will see the amp going off alot more....picked up a +2 offensive/20 frw with all resist circlet...we are wearing this now until something better drops....i sold the ceremonial bow....we can get rid of the jeweled bow too....lets get a few more levels on her and i will see about crafting a pair of hitpower gloves.....looks like we need 2 more shaels now....keep your eyes peeled for any 3 os light elite armour and we can make a teachery....it might be better to head back to nm for some baal runs....they just go alot easier with that wws!!

hmmm...we have 10 on the gloves, 10 on the belt...another 10 would get us to 10/3 strafe....we need 56 total to hit 9/3...we can't do that with both fervors....one would certainly help get us to 10/3....a second would be a waste....how about this?....pop one fervor in now....maybe we can get a pair of loh or i can craft a pair with 20ias....this bow really shines at 8/2....we need 115ias to accomplish this....a treachery would be a big help now.

i will be on canzon for a little while...if someone wants her just give a shout.

took a chance on a craft with chaingloves and got lucky...we now have 20ias hitpowers with cold resist....let's fervor that bow!!

No, no calling uncle. It is supposed to be a race to lvl 99 (if we can hold team members that long). It doesn't take that long to get thru the game. But getting to 99 is another story. I will play by myself until others come back. I think Wmerideth said he was going to be gone for a while. But the others, I have not heard from.

I played last night and took her up to big D. I haven't taken out big D yet, will do that tonight if no one else has by the time I get home from my softball doubleheader. (I may be too tired by then).

I've been working late every night this week. I got on last night and cleared the Sanctuary but didn't try big D either. I purchased a different spear (I like cold dam) and muled all the gems/runes/jewels. I should be able to play a lot more this weekend.

did a few countess runs....picked up a hel...swapped some gear around...new boots give us mf/resists and frw....and it frees up alot of charm space...the 90 fire resist was good while it lasted....i saved all charms and the old boots in case anyone wants to switch back....put the spirit shroud on the merc for cbf....hate cursed archers...they were almost as bad as the lag....pwned by a spike fiend!!! he had some help....huge lag spike....we died in town....never did see the fiend...but bnet was kind enough to tell me 10 seconds later that we were killed by one.

I took out big D tonight. He dropped a halfway decent low level spear. We do almost 200 damage now. Also, Angelics ammy which I swapped with the other one we had. We lost 31 life, but gained the mana bonus on the ammy. We buy so many mana pots it is ridiculous.

Took her out on a "recreational" run. I like to start my pit runs in the Marsh. If I run across the Tower along the way,so much the better. That didn't happen. I "scorched earthed" the Tamoe with an exp shrine over my head most of the time. Getting oh so close to 72, I dove into pit. Hit a melee rogue pack imediately, things seemed ok for a sec or two, then a hail of arrows came from behind them. The merc died, the valk and I made it out with just a sliver of life. "I'm not going back in there." so I went on a Bishbosh run. :p . Leveled, (5dex,1valk) Bishbosh dropped a rare ring that was of course junk.

killed basically everything in my way but did die from a unqiue pack of skeleton archers with conviction
but it all worked out

went for a few countess and pit runs....nothing good...we can start some serious glove crafting now...start saving ingredients please....if i can get a volunteer to help with muling tonight we can clear some space...got a level or two....damn that merc is fragile...amp=instant death...did i say before that i hate blessed archers? just when you think you have them all taken care of with slow missiles, one runs in off screen that you missed and one hit kills your merc...oh well...he will improve with a few more levels....low 70's is still not high enough for hell with crap equipment.

I started NM, but feel free to Baal run for a while. She's at level 40. Got the first 4 WP's in NM Act 1 and completed Quest 1 & 3. Found another blue MF ring. Act I Quest ring is so-so. I left it in stash. Having trouble again uploading pix. I will try later and leave screenies of ring and a rare helm also. Also found and put different rare armor on Merc. Didn't use any skill or stat pts (3 skill avail).

Personnaly the new rare gloves are not needed, the knockback is too usefull and +2 to bow and crossbow wont add more then 15 to our dmg with strafe.

They sure are nice but unless we get knockback elsewhere.

can't amp them and ma won't touch them....pmh on the edge is useless because they are immune to phys/stone skin....a harmony might be able to take one out but it would take a long time....this is the third time i hit one in the maggot lair now....at least he wasn't shooting lightning from every orifice like the previous 2...i hate these guys.

picked up another lvl...and a new rare ammy...it has less total resist than the 14 all but it boosts our poison resist and has mana leech...it should be a piece of cake to tweek our charms now to give us full resists right across the board...

For even more flexibility in resist we could use the 3 socket life helm I fund and stick ral-ort-thul in it that would make 30 resist for each instead the litle 14 resist all in the actual circlet. We would only loose some run/walk and attack rating, but we would gain life and better resist.

edit...muled some stuff...hel/amned the bonehew and swapped hats on the merc....if we can keep this one alive we should consider going for a might again...keep your eyes peeled for a good rare mana leech ring...no insight now.

I took her thru the Spider, Great Marsh and Flayer. Got the WP's and the brain and eye, and gidbinn. She is ready for Kurast. We have maxed out LF. She kills pretty fast, but uses a lot of mana pots. Let's max out CS and then work on Pierce (what do you think, 5 or 6 max for now?) and valk (how about 5 for now?). Have you guys decided what to use for a secondary skill for LI's in hell? We have a halfway decent bow on switch.

Found a 2 handed spear with +2 to jav skills. I prefer using a sheild, though, but I left it in her stash if you guys want to use it. Also found a new armor with some good resists and Ormus gave us a decent ring. I switched it out for one of the MF rings we had.

I have to go to my son's soccer game. I will post a few screenies when I get back.

Phoenix is free, but needs to be muled. Sorry little time left.

Sure! Played some in Act IV but didn't get any quests or WPs. Level to 52 (didn't use skill pt or any stat pts). Found Gravepalm and Treads of Cthon:

lowest char i have ever done was a lvl 81 bowazon....but she was pimped and built for the clone....this girl is just too fragile....i left sirmessbu with canzon in game....19 sold....if he walks a clone he has a smiter that can take him out....guess we can just add the anni to the prize package....a few more lvls on canzon and you guys know i would have attempted it....

Peace is made. With the valk built in, we may as well spend no points in valk, until we no longer use it. Then we can build her up if we need it in hell.

EDIT: Just got booted off Bnet. Phoenix is free for a while. I am going to run Baal for a while on another character.

2nd Edit: I was very close to finding the first WP in act 4 when I got booted., Sorry guys. Izzy is done, but we have to trek thru the entire thing again to get the WP.

Since I took turn over Superdave I was trying to get done with the maggot lair and just make it out with the staff. How long as it been, one hour, two?

I am now heading for the amulet in the viper temple.
look back a few pages....i posted a screenshot of the guys i kept running into this morning while trying the maggot lair....i decided my time was better spent trying to pimp redux out a little better...i was really hoping to get a good 3 os armor to make that treachery

i did make a new blade bow edge....use this if you run into a guy with high hp/fast regen....a few shots to trigger pmh really helps sometimes

anymore sojs sold? they were selling fast and furious and then just stopped.

I havent seen anymore soj count, I guess the seller had it spawn in there game but Ill keep idling just in case.

I agree that if it ever spawns in that game the anni will go for the prize package.

I just made it to the viper amy. Was the most scary time I ever had with Redux so far, Those viper are nasty. I made it without dying and it feels good :D

I just fund a gc from palace level3, its in the stash if anyone feel like rolling it.

Burned through the all pgems except the rubies and saphs, all we got is a plain fervor to show for it :mad: This might take a while. If we decide to roll charms, sc's would be the way to go. If we were trading, I'd do gc's.

Spellsteel might be of use later on on switch for decrepify curse and teleport charges. I wouldn't use it myself but I won't throw it away before all agree.

Ill xfer some gems I picked up along the way and canzon will be free in about 15 minutes.

I am now experiencing connection difficulty on canzon to finish the xfer, is someone trying to log with her?

I won't waste 1 hour trying to log in so, canzon-redux is now free

Got first 2 NM Act IV WP's and Forge Quest.

Level 54, didn't use any skill or stat pts.

Only items worth noting were a Sol rune (with a Ko and 4 os bow we could make a Harmony bow OR we already got the runes to make an Insight poelarm for the Merc) and that Pul :thumbsup: at Forge.

Decided to try for Diablo in NM. Cleared Chaos Sanctuary and then the Big D himself. Found two nice mana charms in Chaos and Mavina's Gloves on the way there.

Left Coif in stash - perhaps an alternative to Naj's Circlet? Moved Gravepalm and Treads to mule to make some room.

Then on to Act V. Pretty easy time through the hills. Didn't find anything of note but got the first WP and Shenk.

Used some Stat pts in Dex to boost blocking % and the available skill pts between Valk (now at 5) and Pierce (at 4).

Muled gems except one flawless in case of a Gem Shrine. Do we want to think about any crafting or charm re-rolling?

Took Phoenix thru the first parts of act 5 NM. Got up to the Nilathak quest but went to get the Glacial Trail WP. We still have to do Nilathak and get that WP. Enjoy the one Pindle run we get.

We need to do Nilathak and then the rest of act 5. There are 2 skill points unspent and over 100 stat points. Don't spend these until Hell, so we know whether we need vit or dex for gear, etc...

30 on bow

gives 100 ias...13 ias short of 8/2

we can shael/shael the bow for 110 ias....that leaves us 3 short....we need an endgame hat and a fervour in it......anyways 9/2 strafe is not too shabby

edit....i'm a moron...treachery gives 45....let's hel the bow and shael/shael and we are at 8/2

Diablo is dead!!!!!

I tried the merc against him once and lost almost all the gold, then I baught potions and didnt had more gold. I faught vs Diablo casting valkyrie and attacking with the wws then getting amp switching to the edge. Was relativly easy.

I just re-read my post and I am sorry but it was not clear. I meant to say to save most of the stat points because we never know what gear we are going to find and whether we will need vit. The skill points can be spent. Sorry for the confusion.

thought i would take her out to test the new armor.....lagged out at the frigid wp and got booted....now i am getting failed to join so i guess i am done for the night.

have fun yogi...i am sure you will like the new armour....i usually do a countess run and stand in the fire on the way down to activate the fade....with full fire resist, i doesn't hurt.

Did a tunnel run. (I'm addicted to them ;)) Nothing dropped. More importantly, I muled off the items. Most of the Sigons are sold, along with Spire and the crafted gloves. Took the gold and revived the merc for more storage. Put Arioc's on Redux's merc for a test. Question, IIRC Holy Freeze is capped at character level 85. Is that a solid cap? If so, the +4 skills won't help much.

I'm going to make another tunnel run if no one minds.

I love the armor!! Venom is the bomb! The IAS is great. Haven't had a chance to test fade yet :surprise:

Unfortunately, nothing worth keeping. Collected a few more flawless gems, cubed and muled them. Level 62 and didn't use any skill pts but did use a few stat pts in Dex (sorry Dacar) to get the % block back up a bit (there's still 100 or so unused stat pts). Are we going to use strafe for LI's? If so, we could use the 5 or 6 skill pts to get that started.
