FA bowzon kill rate in hell

I am building this Frozen Arrow bowzon in hardcore. I dont have ubber gear yet..so I just like to know what mf i can do in hell or nm that is safe and what run should be avoided, and also is it easy to kill stuff even at hell? say it is not cold immune.. i plan to max the synergy of cold arrrow only. thx for input..

From my personal experiences with a hell mavina FA zon (with maxed cold arrow synergy) i will tell you NO it is not a quick killer beyond one player, even against monsters with low cold resistances. The bottom line is that unless you use something like windforce your physical component of your FA damage will be crappy. Combine this with the 20+ mana cost of high level FA and you will be chugging mana pots constantly since the only way for FA to leech meaningfully is to pierce multiple monsters with high physical damage. Ice bow (if you are rich) is another FA option but its physical damage is even crappier than mavina's so you will have even more leech problems.

As for nightmare chaos/worldstone/baal sure it does fine but seriously do not expect this to be a good mfer in hell. If you want a good mfer with hell go for the standard strafe/fury hybrid build for the pits.

Hmm...It's not fast, but...I find it to my taste on Pits Runs...My Strafe/Multi is damaging enough, and I can finish the run pretty fast, using Mav's set...Just that CI can bother you a lot...but you don't know what's fun unless you can freeze a mob of Fanatics Extra Strong Extra Fast Archers and killing them nice and fast(Well, I guess you ain't thinking about using FA's on single targets, are you? O.o)...

My damage output at lvl 80 is 1800-2k damage with Full Mav's...Plus the damage from the Mav's Bow, which is not great, but...I find it nice and cool, but, except NM Runs and Hell Pits, I think it's not suited for MF...Try a Cheesydin/Metecheeseorber, they can be great for MF...

Str: enough for gear
Dex: enough for gear
Vit: less than half of what is left but enough to make you comfortable.
Nrg: Pump

Use +mana afer each kill and + to regen mana items to keep that blue ball full.
Use + to mana items to make it bigger ;)

there are 3 kinda builds for a bowazone (yours is neither:
1. pure dex , 0 vita
2. pure vita, minium dex
3. half dex, half vita (Witch i prefer)

you say a ama needs to pump mana? since when can she use energy shield :o ?

leech that is what you need much mana leech and abou 1x% LL, i got much manaleech, leech = king in pvm cause pvm builds are mostly made on much phys dmg so you can kill fast and leech much, but take care you have enough life not to die from 1 pack of fana monster~~

and if ya need some mana fast use strafer (1 point enough on frostmaiden)

Because he's playing hardcore, with no equipment. Meaning he doesn't have piles of windforces sitting around... so leech is going to be a problem for him. With base energy, you will run out fast spamming 30 mana freezing arrows.

Not really. Strafe with 1 point is going to have low damage, and lack the 7-arrow minimum of maxed strafe. 1 point is going to be very inefficient.

It seems to me that gear matter alot in hell game. Well, it is pretty much the same for any build anyways except some cough cough sorc cough hammerdin.. I will go for max FA/Cold Arrow/ Straft..I think

I have a FA zon, and while she's hybrided to lightning, she has more than enough leech on her bow switch with mav's set and a manald heal.
