Hola. I thought it might be a good idea to create a help topic dedicated to rushes, as not to flood the other help topic with pleas for them. Just leave your account if you want to be rushed, and try as best you can to come back and edit your post after you no longer are in need of a rush. (Just leave a note saying that you got rushed, banned, or decided that you hate classic or d2 in general etc.) I'm not sure if this topic will sink or float, but we'll see..

Thanks!

Hey,

I'm US East Softcore Ladder. I'll provide rushes, but I'd like a rush in return. If you can't rush on Classic, but can on LoD, I'll take that as well.

I use a lot of different accounts so instead of listing them, PM me or reply here.

That is what the Classic give/receive help thread is for in the stickies about. Find it here (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=341118). Please use it. We don't need 20 threasds asking for rushes floating around.

This is a good idea and I will allow it if the other thread doesn't work for some reason. Try it first.

As I stated, the give/recieve help thread has been crowded with rush requests. It would be much better to separate the two, so that a user wouldn't have to scroll through an entire page of "hey, i need a rush" to find a question to answer, thus leaving the users with needs besides a rush the opportunity for them to be seen and not neglected, causing them to leave unhappily or post again.

In addition, this thread would function much better (hopefully) because I have added the recommendation that everyone return and edit their post so that any attempt at getting a rush from these forums will be productive, as not to confuse readers with 3/4ths of the rush requests being invalid. This also would prevent the neglect of those who never did get a rush, but are so far back that no one notices them, thus making them post yet again to be heard. In the long run, this system would help any person seeking any kind of help on the forum by separating and organizing those in need of a rush, and would also allow those trying to help others be more productive and less annoyed, which otherwise may cause the helpers to stop helping (clearly not a benefit.)

On a few side notes; please don't judge my actions as rash and noobish or whatever because I just joined. I have posted on many a forum for a long time, this one included. (And I am not so dumb as to leave the stickies unnoticed. That is the most important part of any forum.) Also, I don't intend to sound arrogant or to flame you, I am just a very brash debater, and that is the way I actually talk when arguing. =P

Now to edit my settings and add a signature or something ~.~

OK, you've convinced me. I am easy today and not in the mood for an argument. It is Friday and I have a cold one (or 2) waiting for me when I get home. That is all that matters right now. To quench my thirst.

Dacar, sounds like you have a great Friday evening planned and I will be there in spirit. If I might make another related suggestion, the sticky for player matchup/meetup has been a dismal failure thus far. The last post was over a month ago and the entire thread only ever got 2 responses

It wasn't a bad idea, just not used and this forum doesn't get enough traffic really for someone to stumble on that thread and find out "hey someone else is doing NM cs runs tonight! Cool!", especially since this forum covers 4 realms and HC/SC, ladder/nonladder. 16 degrees of variation by my count :p

What might be more successful is a thread where forum regulars and newbies can post their account names and realm/ladder/SC/HC so we can add each other to friend lists. What do you think of that Dacar?

I would love a sccl rush. I just died hccl and am starting sccl. Ill give you a rush in return once i get some chars up and running, and there will be intrest on that rush so over time i can give u 2X rushes, or give u sumthing you need that i have 4 free.. or something. Rush me now then l8er ill pay you back ;)

Taft, ive always been on good terms with you, but ive never really actually played with you. Now that im back on esccl i hope we can play together.

What is your account name? (this question is to anyone who plays sccl and would like to be friends ;) )

ROFLMAO :worship:

Actually, that thread is the main gateway to the National Security Association, Div. of Nanotechnology Sensors for Terrorist Detection, with a bank of servers in a windowless barn somewhere in Maryland. :shhh: Thats why the admn was such a 'pushover' to have an alternative thread.

Of course, no one will believe me. Thus, there was no compromising this top secret facility/website. Over the years it has been learned that shlock public exposure is the best way to preserve the integrity of secret information.

I'm on sccnl east, just started playing classic again after quitting for xpac (what a fool I am!). So I'd appreciate a norm-hell rush or anything in between.
