View Full Version : Conviction Negates Conviction in PvP?

I have never made a Paly requiring Conviction, but I heard that a higher lvl Conviction in pk negates the other. For ex:

There are 2 Dreamers, one with lvl 25 Conviction and another with lvl 26 Conviction. Only the one with the higher Conviction will have the benefit of the Conviction, and the one with the lower Conviction won't get any -enemy resi from his own Conviction?

If this is true, then my new Dreamer shouldn't have like 10 points in Conviction since with items I can get lvl 25, so I should stack? Against FoHers I can just turn to my maxed Light Resist, but against good V/T's which I begin to see more and more these days, I will just lose my Conviction if they stack?

Or should I stack? Is this even true at all?

Well... this is a real vital knowledge I must know in completing my build, anyone know this for certain as in true or false?

i dont think that was the case... ive played against many conviction users and their res went down along with mine.

It did occur in 1.10. Maybe someone test if it still occurs in 1.11.

Tested it today...bug still exists.
My level 27 conviction negated the level 25 conviction.
His conviction did nothing to my resistance while mine affected his.

Ps...we made sure that non of our paladins had stack resist to make sure.
