Free windfroce

Not long ago I managed to assemble my 170 upped shael-shael WWS :clap: , this ladder. I am happy with it, though not totally amazed by it.
Then now I've been given a free windforce in a public game, then comes my dilemma of which to use :p . Certainly I can wear both but chance is that I'm gonna use just one most of the time.
Is windforce really so cheap that ppl throw it away as rubbish?
Besides, how many of us are using WWS?

What build? For a strafer use windforce, it's great.

Yea strafer. The thing is I dont want to give up the wws which I spend much effort to get hold of. On the other hand windforce seems a bit better in killing power, I feel. Think I will wear them both for a period and compare time to time :rolleyes:

Yeah, since you have both, you'd better try them out and do the comparison yourself. And hopefully you'll post the result here, some people (myself at least) would be interested to learn what you find out. Thanks!

WF is for n00bs!! Use Faith.

I am very fond of my (SP) WWS zons, and, dare I say it, I think I have perfected them.[/insert sarcastic emoticon here]

But if I ever get my hands on a WF...

I don't know what I would do, exactly, but it would likely be that I would soon forget what WWS stood for.

I do not think that a WF/WWS switch gal would really work as a fair comparison because with with a strafer (assuming), it's all about reaching your BP and then loading on the damage. The WF would require so much IAS that you would lose those spots that helped up the damage of your WWS. To really compare them, you have to do more than put them on switch, you have to switch out much of your gear and charms too.

That's my opinion. If you want, give me the WF and I'll answer the question for you...

Well maybe I should post my gears first:

Helm: Rare Diadem +2 ama skill, 30% enhanced damage, 13 resist all, some +str, + life, and one open socket (I love this one)
Ammy: Atma (been switching between highlord and it, like it more, but foreseeing that I may need the highlord for BP later. Yet I loss the highlord in ancident)
bow: wws shael-shael/wf shael
Armor: Lionheart
Glove: Loh
Belt: Razortail
Boot: Sandstorm/Gore/WT (been trying between sandstorm and gore, gore does help a little bit in boss. WT is fresh found, yet to be tried)

What I want to say is, I havn't been optimized in ias yet, mainly due to poverty, lol. I do wish to pop a ed/ias jewel into my diadem, and I do love to get a highlord back, but I dont have the fund atm. In desperate case, i can slap in a Treachery but I dont feel the need right now.

Given the current setup my feeling is, I still like wws more. Indeed wf kill the baddies faster, a bit. But wws is more versatile i have to say. With the atma amp dmg is always on on every monster, so i dont need to think whether they are PI or not. In WSK2 switching to WF is too dangerous seeing that I dont know when the black souls are shooting lightning to me. I will keep trying and maybe yes get a max amount of ias and see how's wf performing again :)

@Citybird: nice idea pity that I'm in Europe realm :p
