I was doing norm trav with my level 24 sorc since i had nothing better to do, and a rare blade dropped. Does this mean shard can drop there?

When you say rare, do you mean a blade that had yellow lettering, or a blade that had dull gold lettering? If it's the latter, then congratulations, you have Spectral Shard.

If not, then I'm not even sure of Shard can drop there. Hopefully someone else can answer.

Best place to find a Shard would be NM Andy with about 200 MF. I found 5 of my 7 Shards there :D

Okay thanks, i found my last at nm cow king and gskin from a random monster in nm RoF :p

Lol, wow, you too, eh? I found that, and 2 Silks of the Victor from random Unique monsters. :lol:

8 people game? I never got any thing worth from her. On a side note I found my only Gull in Normal Andy with a zero MF char :cheesy:
