Hey guys...

I recently got my hands on Mavina's set, and made a Strafezon.

I'm planning on maxing Strafe; Freezing Arrow; Valk, and distribute the rest between dodge/evade/multiple... You can comment on this build if you want :)

As for the stats, I'm aiming for:

Str 125-130
Dex 200+
Vit ~100
Energy Base

Now the questions:

What would you guys socket on the Bow, and the Helm - and poissibly the armor? (I obviously don't have any 40-15... So... :P Get cheaper with me!)

Also, for such zon, what boots would you guys suggest?

I would max the synergy for Freezing Arrow (the one that gives the % dmg, not duration), and not Multishot since you already decided to use Strafe. This looks like a FA/Strafe build. Stick a Shael in the Bow for faster speed. Any decent ED jewels for the helm and armor if you want to focus more on physical damage, otherwise cold Facets if you want to concentrate more on cold damage. For boots, use Wartravs for the +stats and damage boost, or even Waterwalks will work.

Oh... I see, thanks for the advice!

I'm currently using IK Boots, lol, will think about Travs.

Btw, how much % would be considered decent for a ED jewel? Above 30? I believe the highest I have is like.. 32 or 39...

Any jewel above 30% ED is good enough for now. You can always take the jewels out later when you find/trade for better ED jewels.

You may want to put some points into pierce. 5 may be enough. Check out this matriarch thread (http://forums.diabloii.net/showthread.php?t=381302) -- I found it useful.

Will it be wise to socket a 15% ias jewel in both the helm and the armor?

After socketing a shael in the bow of course...

2 IAS jewels, 1 in the helm and the other in the armor?

Strafe sucks badly with mav's set, even with high dex and a highlord's/atma's

and maxed FA + CA with mav's set doesn't do that good in multiplayer hell either
