During my LLDing, I got this message in red:

Diablo: This server will be closed in 5 minutes.

What does this mean?

Did it close in 5 minutes?

It sounds like a planned closure. But they usually post these in advance.

Yes it did close, but for some reason, I was able to log back in again with no problems....strange isn't it?

It used to happen alot more than lately. And it may be a server that is not the original one running the game. Several times, I failed to logoff when the 1 minute warning came up, and found myself dead. So Blizzard or some company actually hosting the game has several servers in line handling things. It must be somewhat complicated.

Most of the time, u will be tossed back to the game menu, but sometimes it really wont go down after all...
