Help me with slotting a bow >=)

Alright, so I'm in Nightmare now, and current bow is destroying most of the monsters I'm fighting, here it is:

Gemmed Edge Bow (1p topaz, 1p Skull, 1p Sapphire)
6-19 Base DMG
1-40 Lightning DMG
10-14 Cold DMG
4% Life Stolen/hit
3% Mana Stolen/hit

Soon as I gemmed that bow, I found a four slot long bow, 3-18 Base DMG, so I saved up and got myself the exact same gems and some more. Playing in a cow level, I got my hands on a 3 slotted siege bow, 13-30dmg.

What should I do? I was thinking of making the long bow the same as my current one, but with the addition of a p.emerald for 100 poison damage.

Or should I go with the stronger bow and sacrifice that poison slot?

Ideas, suggestions, what's the best way to do things, etc.

ehh well I read in your profile that you live in New York so I guess your not on Europe ladder (smart I am right? :thanks: )

Think some nice soul will give you a 6 socket Long battle/War Bow soon ... any minute now ... .... come on ppl ... fast darn it :rant: (J/K)



Well seriously I recommend socketing with PTopaz or ith runes/maxdmg jewels if any. poison is to slow. however I think you'd probably be able to obtain a free unique bow like Kuko or skystike (if your not playing single player that is ...)

well should not be a problem. wisit the classic forum for better advise I guess. Was wondering how you could be "destroying most of the monsters" in nightmare with that bow ... guess playing classic explains it :lol:

Well good luck finding your CDkey for the XP at any rate. can barely remember how it was to play classic so I'll be of little help without it :lol:
