I never really gave Iratha's a good look, but after collecting the whole set and being bored enough, I decided to put on the whole set on my level 80 Sorc, and all I have to say is wow. With those kind of resist's, I have to wonder why I never used it before. Here's a cheap setup that I thought of on the spot for a Cold/Lightning Sorc:

Helm: Iratha's Coil
Weapon: Spectral Shard
Shield: 3-Socket PDiamond Kite Shield
Armor: Darkglow
Gloves: Iratha's Cuff
Boots: Rare 30% FW/R with resists
Belt: Iratha's Cord
Amulet: Iratha's Collar
Rings: FCR, at least 20% dual resists (Fire/Cold, Poison/Lightning, etc.)

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

You're right that it's little-known gold. I find it works best on an Amazon, especially a non-bowzon. My javazon did hell CS wearing:

Full Iratha
Twitchthroe
3-diamond tower
Harpoon
30%RW/res rare boots
Decent rare rings - AR, mana, leech, not much res needed

Main problem with iratha's set is lack of +skills, also you will get hurt by melee attacks with low block shield and darkglow. FHR is also important if you get surrounded and need to move away.

As for cheap i traded the gloves in the set early in the ladder for Silks to someone desperate to have full set.

But yes very good for resists and easy to get now ladder has been going for a while (assuming you play on ladder, if not should be easy to get any way).

One of my good friends used this setup on her lightnin sorceress...

Full Irathas set
Twitchthroe
Spectral Shard
The Ward (50 all res)
2 FCR rings with nice resists and str
Tri res boots with fhr and replen

Now, the rings and boots changed as better ones were acquired (the final ones were along the lines of 25MF 5Rep 10FHR 30+cr/lr/fr, the rings were 10fcr cr/lr/fr and str+rep, and 10fcr cr/lr high mana, high energy, and str)

A very simple setup, but this worked well to get a level 91 lightning sorc. Not bad? The twitch+ward combo is great because of the stats and the blocking, while the whole setup only lacks mana, and this is where some nice fcr rings can fill in. SOJ's are a poor choice with irathas though, because the 70fcr breakpoint is necesarry for a sorc (at least to me), and although I love high mana sorcs, this build is quite effective, and the mana problem is reduced by BO in cs.

You can do alot of things with iratha set which are pretty good options if you lack end game stuff but I wouldn't use the whole set on a sorc. Max I'd use is amu+crown.

Itharas set is pretty good, but not on a light sorc.

A setup ive used in the past- Full ithara- shard- dual res fcr mana rings- twitch- the ward- rare fhr res boots. Cheap, good, no + skills :(

On a blizz cs sorc this does well, though.

On a light sorc get at least 80 fcr and ideally 120 fcr or shoot yourself in the head

I've used Iratha's set with darkglow, a perfect ward, tearhaunches, shard, and two SOJs on a hammerdin. The low amount of plus skills really didn't hurt him much (oh no, he only does 8000 damage!), and it makes it really easy to survive in hell CS. Plus, he was able to get almost all his needed dex from items. My only real complaint is that he has 0% MF with the setup (even so, he still found his own perfect ward), but you can swap in a gull really easy. Still, iratha's set is quite good if you ask me.

Lol, you're really fond of Twitch and Ward combo ^.^

I agree though...that combo is godly as well as easy to get for any character. Now if only I could MF a few perfect Wards.....
