Barb WW 2 hander?

Using 2 hander is not the best idea as 2 weapons is better than that. This is because you get more hits from 2 weapons. Also the mods on another weapon usually outweighs the dmg (OW/CB/etc)

There really aren't that many great 2handed WW barb weapons other then BOTD's/Doom's anyway.. (except ladder only ones like pride and infinity)

I was thinking this would be good being as im on HC and having 5k+ life high Def and such 1-2 hit KO'ing opponets but if i should go 2 hander (2 weps) what would be best?

2 weaps are usefull against casters smiters, hammerdins but against a barb ww with shield u should not go 2 handed u will lose.

but anyway with 2 of these weaps u can land about 6 hits in 1 ww cuz the weaps are able to hit last break point.

From what i've heard you dont get more hits you just get the damage from both weapons added together.

I believe you get more hits with both. Also as stated, I don't think you can hit the last WW bp.

YES! Stygian pike is the best to make botd in, too bad zod+eth wont fit.
War pike is almost as good though, who cares about ww bps?

Seriously, I thought you hc-guys had a little more knowledge of the game than this. I suggest you pay a visit to the barb-forum, newbies ask these questions there every day.

Anyways my lvl 85ish 2 handed ww barb from last season:
Eth botd ghost spear (0 base 5 range hits -60 ww breakpt that warpike can't (less dmg more speed)
25% dr leviathan 40% ed jewel
arreats 40% ed jewel
highlords
gores
verdungos
dual ravens
ik gaunts (couldn't trade for steelrends)
Typical vita charms that were of poor quality.
My advice: fort for casters/non physical builds. Also tele ammy for those. My barb had a few switches for killing cs zons/dream pallies (lots of light resist charms in stash + tgods)also 120% cold resist armor of the whale for cold sorc's. As long as you don't ww on top of another ww barb you should be fine, they shouldn't hit you enough and hard enough to take you on. My barb managed to beat a few hammerdins that were stupid enough to teleport on top of a ww'er, also nailed a godly cs zon using that conviction runeword on merc as well as a dream pally. Most people flat out refused to duel since they suck when up vs someone that knows how to duel. Even killed a chickening shapeshifting druid ;).

Anyways had around 13k dmg with a low % botd ghost spear with might/fort on, 9k w/out both + critical/cb. Only problem with ww barbs are attack rating, mine was 8kish iirc and my barbs defense was mid to upper 10k's.

Using fort vs another ww'er or zealot is not a good idea imo, they can get a few good hits then = deeds.
