Every lightning immune is a road block for my pure lightning sorc. How do you lightning sorcs deal with lightning immunes?

Use a merc and have him poke it to death. Or if you're rich, stick an Infinity on your merc.

Lower resist wand?
Seriously, I have no idea.
Merc usually rules it :) Just keep using telekensis (sorta 'stops' em from attacking). Unless there immune to the push motion itself too :(

i dont think any monsters is immune to that, it just doesnt work all the time. about 1/3 or so, but i reckon it has something to do with monster size/tk lvl too?

Don't think you can telekenesis boss or unique or champion monsters?
Not 100% sure.

Or u can try using uniques throwing axe or bow with any item property ignores target defence and prevent moster heal. I tried before with a Sorc with so low attack rating but it still takes time to kill that immune creature.
That is my desperate measure when lower resist or conviction can't break that immunity. Anyway lightning immunity is so much easier to be broken than cold immunity.

Tk is your friend even vs bosses.
Stop being one dimensional and use 2 forms of elemental attack.

My holy freeze merc always die from any unique or champion lightning immune. What is the best merc for this?

My holy freeze merc always die from any unique or champion lightning immune. What is the best merc for this?First of all what level are you? Much like any melee char, your merc will have trouble if hes low level (lower or near 80). What kind of gear hes using? You need good damage weapon and some sort of life leeching. Res and damage reduction are also important, as well as defense.
A few recommendations:
Helm: Gaze or Andy visage.
Armor: Duriel's shell, eth Stone, eth Duress, Shaftstop.
Weapon: Insight, Obedience, Tomb reaver, Reaper's Toll.
Also if your merc has trouble vs strong light immune you can give him potions that's sometimes the only way to keep him in action. Or just avoid that strong monster and find other targets :p.

I'm only level 70 and I don't have anything remotely close to your recommendations. I'm pretty poor. I think I'll make a meteorb next time to avoid some immunity problems.

I was able to solo Mausoleum with ease in 8players.
Just pick the areas with-out cold immunes and you won't have any trouble.

I'm having a hard time just going through act 1 hell, with still 4 more acts still left. I could beat the game eventually, I'll just have to die a lot more than hoped. I want a lower resist wand but is it expensive to repair the charges?

One thing I know is that Lvl1 LR 0/30 Charges is definitely cheaper than Lvl2 LR 0/30 Charges.
